Very Easily explained this confusing topic , amazing 😍 , But 1 correction In Respiratory alkalosis mechanism There Is Increase Co2 So there is Increase in PH (if i am not wrong)
@cristiangdc61811 ай бұрын
Respiratory alkalosis is defined by a pH >7.45 due to a respiratory mechanism, which is the excessive loss of pCO2 by respiration. Consequently, there is a decrease in pCO2, not an increase. This is what occurs, for example, when you hyperventilate. In the video, they don't mention respiratory alkalosis. Instead, they're discussing the compensatory mechanism that results from metabolic alkalosis, which is respiratory acidosis (explained at 5:01). I hope this helps!

more co2 equals more acids equals disminution in ph values

PCO2 is low in respiratory alkalosis.

How hypokalemia stimulate RAAS

Exactly my question too.

It doesn't. Volume contraction does. Loss of fluid activates RAAS. Aldosterone holds on to sodium to correct fluid imbalance, while kidney dumps hydrogen(alkalosis) and potassium(hypokalemia). Treat volume issue first and potassium will regulate itself.

Hello, thanks for that great information. My pH has been high at 8.0 for about two years now. I don’t know how to get it to go down. I eat all Vegan food. Mainly Chickpeas, vegetables, and fruits. Any advice? Thank you.

stop being vegan. very bad for your body. humans evolved thanks to animal fats and proteins, never thanks to veggies...
