Literally the only criticisms I have are the same two as when I watched it as a kid; 1) the wings aren't long enough, 2) the genus is too vague. Though, to be fair on the second point, it's _really_ difficult to design a Transformer with pretty much any pterasaur as an altmode with a mostly accurate altmode. One mode always ends up suffering. I settled for _Sinomacrops_ as the almode for mine, and she ended up with huge forearms formed from the head.

Now THIS is the Transformers figure quality I like to see! Show accuracy in both painting and sculpting detail, and lots of articulation points for iconic poses. I wish Hasbro could give us this level of quality.

You would also get the Hasbro level of pricing as well. These figures won't be cheap for a reason: a lot of people to pay, materials, etc.

The only thing that bugs me about modern day transformers figures, is no bonus features. aka: all their weapons are hunks of plastic, where as figures from the Beast Wars, and Unicron trilogy, had spring-loaded projectiles, flip-out features via Minicons or Cyber planet keys, electronic lights and sounds, etc.

@@nine_tails137 I... honestly don't mind the lack of gimmicks on modern transformers. I actually kinfa prefer it. IMO they usually either added little or actively detracted. Stuff like missile launchers I never use and they make the guns look worse. And stuff like cyber keys and minicons, while fun, feel like they cause sacrifices to the figure proper.

Im blown away at the engineering! I’ve also realized that the reason I love Terrorsaur so much is because he’s basically the equivalent of Starscream in Beast Wars. While I appreciate the ghost of SS appeared on the show, I don’t understand why they didn’t just name Terrorsaur Starscream and have him be a descendant of the original Screamer.

My new favorite transformer! I love everything about this figure, it has nice weight with solid kibble free robot and alt mode. Hasbro will charge almost $100 for leader class toys but the engineering and materials are junk (cost effective to mass produce). Thing is, this Terrorsaur cost me $180 and I would put it way above masterpiece Tigatron which cost me $450 after shipping/ duty/ taxes. Finally a proper Terrosaur transformer :) Wonder which figure will pull me out of collecting retirement again?

It's utterly (insane) how the engineering is brought to fruition!!!! 🤗 China may have a select remnant of residents that all are descendents of "Wheeljack"!!!! 😄

This figure isn’t my cup of tea, but MAN Metagate is killing it with 3 figures in less than their first year. And the quality is 90% there. Which is far better than I can say about most well established third party companies.

Like the scale detailing, that's what I wish the official MPs did, actual fir, skin and scale details rather than flat textures. I know they were trying to emulate the look of the show but I think for a physical toy they should actually add texture since they aren't limited by 90's computer rendering.

I disagree strongly. If they didn't do the digital paint decos then they wouldn't be screen accurate. The scales on this figure is my biggest issue.

mine arrived today everything is super tight on mine so i was quite careful handling him but the quality is simply amazing fits right in with rest of my beast wars MPs and my copy the abdomen bit stays securely tabbed in so they may have changed it for my release (mine also had packaging and instructions). Also i was originally unsure about his metallic paint job but all the other MPs in there robot forms have metallic accents so he actually once again fits in quite well.

My criticism is that the paint cab vary from figure to figure. For example there was a glob of white paint in the corner of the cheek on the face sculpt, had to cut it and scrape it out carefully with a xacto blade, and the pterodactyl face has a lazy eye. Other than that the figures mostly solid

You can slot the stand piece to the side of the base part to recreate the hover platform they used in the show. Cool figure and probably the best we will ever get.

In relation to the ending skit, Did he actually do that? I can't say as the only time I watched it was when it was on Netflix and the Audio was meh. Really my PC speakers where designed to shutting off if the sound dropped below a certain level which happened to often with certain during the show. As for when it aired in the 90's, Locally it aired at 7:00AM and I had to be out the door around 7:10AM to catch the bus.

My biggest gripe is the stylised scales they moulded in rather then doing a digital paint devo twitch the animation like the official MP's. It's not going to fit in my opinion. I'll buy him anyway as the figure engineering wise is pure magic.

Hey emgo! When the official release of this figure comes out, will you do a video review of that or will you just leave it at this video? I understand you probably won't have this review figure when the official release figure comes out and it will no doubt be a short video at that, but it would be interesting to see you review the official figure release to show us all what changes have been made if they do because I've not seen any toy reviewer do a video review of a sample piece and then one of the official mass release product to show any differences that have been made. Always like your reviews, looking forward to you finishing the archcore toy reviews, keep up the good work emgo!

The scale chart I've seen (no idea if it is based on official sources or not) shows Terrorsaur being the same height as Tigatron, so since Emgo showed us he is basically the same height as MP Tigatron the scale is accurate (if the chart is). As for the headsculpt I've seen digital edits just making the outer most white (from the face forward to the helmet) changed to red and it fixes it immensely.
