It's so beautiful, catching and moving. I didn't cry but I got close and it made my insides feel like a rollercoaster of emotions; I guess that's where the saying comes from. And with all that, I have to say I fucking hate this song. Why the fuck do I have to feel these things, when exposed to tangential off-shoots of a cartoon about talking, magical spectral ponies no less!? I just started rewatching this damn show to research shit for my story but now I can't escape this haunting for every thought I turn to. Why? Why is it like this?

No offence, but I've already dedicated every fibre of my being to Ongezellig, to repair its reputation, to increase its popularity, to one day see it fully realised as an animated serial with many seasons and the adoring fanbase it rightfully deserves. I can't afford to let up, not when I've come so far, done so much with still so much more to do, but I definitely couldn't have done it without first knowing of the ponies; the lessons of friendship I've learned have been invaluable in my efforts, I hope one day to see them reflected in Ongezellig and maybe when I'm done I'll come back.

This made good use of movement in some of the vocals. I didn't hear clear rising and falling with every phrase, but all the main vocals had some obvious crescendos that made the lyrics a bit more dramatic.
