Amatory ❤️ I can understand your feelings, when i’ve listened to this song for the first time a few months ago i thought it sounds bizzare and i don’t really like it, but it was stuck in my head and i’ve re-listened to it, then again, and again, and then i was listening to it on repeat so many times, it’s one of those hidden gems that sound strange at first listen but it leaves a trace in you if you give it a chance ❤️🔥

Адам: По мне некоторые переходы сыроваты, как-будто они внезапно появляются из ниоткуда.. Ричард: Да. Адам: И.. Ричард: Это старая песня, возможно это одна из первых их песен.. Адам: Да, мне тоже это интересно. В то время было много иностранных команд, я имею в виду, что они не из США и вообще не с американских континентов, но держу пари, что это их старая музыка, а песни, которые были после, наверное с более чистым звуком. Ричард: Возможно. Адам: Мне понравилось. Мне понравилось направление, структура, еще понравилось.. Я совсем не ожидал таких вокальных партий.. Ричард: Да, возможно именно в этом дело, чистый вокал был замечательный, но.. я думаю, возможно он звучал слишком похоже каждый раз.. Я знаю, что записать припев легко, и ты такой "хорошо получилось, сделаем так же еще три раза".. А возможно.. Чувак, я серьезно не знаю! Как я уже сказал, мне надо ее переслушать, у меня реально сложные чувства.. Адам: Плохо, тебе надо высказать свое мнение. Ричард: Это и есть мое мнение! Мне надо ее послушать еще несколько раз! Адам: Нет, мне она понравилась, там столько крутых приколов на фоне, я чувствовал что.. Опять же, сложно прокомментировать микс или уровень, потому что все зависит от того, на чем ты слушаешь. Если ты слушаешь в дерьмовых наушниках, ты услышишь дерьмовый саунд. Ричард: Это точно. Адам: Но я думаю, что если бы звук был более чистым и микс получше.. Ричард: Да.. Адам: Я думаю, что песня звучала бы немного лучше. У меня было ощущение, что слушком много всего наложено друг на друга.. Ричард: Да, я понимаю о чем ты.. Я благодарен за эту заявку, потому что это вызов для меня, это то, что реально заставило меня задуматься.. Адам: Нам бы надо заценить еще что-нибудь от этой команды, возможно что-то недавнее, определенно эти ребята еще появятся на нашем канале. Ричард: Да, определенно. I’ve just found out that August Burns Red and Amatory are somehow connected - their albums Messengers (August Burns Red) and VII (Amatory) were produced by the same producer Tue Madsen from Denmark, he was making Messengers in 2007 and right then VII in 2008, so those albums might have something in common. Instinct Of The Doomed (Inferno is from this album) was also produced by Tue Madsen.

Instinct of the doomed is such a highly underrated album, i think it was ahead of its time, together with VII. But VII was more lucky, it became a classic much earlier.

I forgot to mention that Amatory CDs are extremely rare and crazily expensive. I was looking for a CD Instinct Of The Doomed and i've found one today in UK Amazon - 145£ (162$) for a used CD! When i've just started my Amatory CD collection (i have about 3000 CDs and full discographies of many bands) i was looking for them everywhere around the world, and when i've seen in US Amazon a used CD Inevitability (2004) that costed 50$ i was laughing like "are you kidding me guys, you are exaggerating, 50 bucks for a used CD, plus shipping? Funny, yeah.." But after a long search i didn't laugh anymore, i was like "Ok guys i was wrong, i'm ready now" and of course it was not available anymore xD And now 145£ for a used CD Instinct Of The Doomed in UK Amazon.. plus shipping.. I don't know what to do O_O I know they are extremely rare but man, i can buy 8 new CDs of Gojira and Deftones for those money (i'm collecting them too now)..

@@TrueShotOfficial when i took part in Alan Wilder's Depeche Mode auction i wanted to buy a very rare single I Want You Now, it was released only in Japan as limited edition. It was sold for 270£ (335$). It was new and it was sold by legendary Alan Wilder himself, from his own collection, with his signature!! But i've never seen the prices like this for a used ordinary CD..

You were listening to a bad quality file from a pirate, you should listen to Inferno on official Amatory channel with better quality 😉 When i’ve sent your video reaction to another fan, he said “Why Inferno?! It’s not their classic song at all, there are much more known and popular songs on this album, like Through Closed Eyelids (Сквозь Закрытые Веки), Glass People (Стеклянные Люди) and Crimson Dawn (Багровый Рассвет)». I know that, but i love Inferno too much, you can see there are only my comments under the original audio file 😂 In fact there are 10k views (under a pirate file) not because Amatory is a local band, they are pretty well known among metalheads in both Northern and South Americas, Europe, Asia but they were not well represented in the net, you could find them only on CDs or in the net as a bad quality pirate files, they have uploaded their albums on KZbin a year ago, so it needs time. PS: you’ve pronounced my name correctly 🙌

A reaction video for a song from Instinct Of The Doomed.. that is something groundbreaking! In fact it’s Amatory’s fifth album and it’s kinda « cursed » because one of their iconic vocalists left the band (he entered russian orthodox monastery) and the old hardcore fans don’t want to listen to this album on principle because it’s kinda betrayal of blessed memory, but the new fans who fell in love with Amatory after their most poppy sexy non metal album 6 can’t listen to their heavy stuff, because when they are listening to soft sexy Первый/The First and right then heavy Сквозь Закрытые Веки (Through Closed Eyelids) it’s just blowing up their minds, - there is the same vocalist but those songs are from completely different genres xD For me personally Instinct Of The Doomed is one of their best albums. this album Instict of the Doomed is actually their fifth album and the first one was released back in 2003. Personally I don't like it as much as I like Inevitability of 2004 and the Book of the Dead of 2006 for instance. dima hissingsteam i don’t know what’s wrong with Instinct Of The Doomed but i didn’t want to listen to it for sooo long. I’m a new fan, i’ve discovered Amatory just a few months ago and i’ve suddenly realised myself as a fan just in January. And with all my neophyte’s passion i didn’t want to listen to this album.. But about a month ago i’ve found the lyrics from this album and it just blew up my mind, there is such a beautiful poetry, so i’ve finally decided to give it a try and i didn’t like it at first 😂 but some songs like Inferno were stuck in my head so i’ve re-listened to it, then again, and again, and then i was listening to it on repeat almost every day )) I have a huge collection of discographies of many metal and non-metal bands and i can compare. Amatory is quite a phenomenon for me

That’s really strange, if you’ll open spotify you can see there 200k-500k streams on top5 and it’s coming mostly from english-speaking countries (that is not bad for non-english-singing band) because the russians and many other are using local streaming services like vk music or yandex music, it costs 1,7$ per month though the quality is the same, the music from around the world is almost the same but it costs 7 times less than spotify. I’d like to get an account there, i’m paying 10€ per month.. If i remember well their latest album Doom reached 1 million streams on vk music in 2 months.
