If you guys are getting into metal detecting you need to swing the metal detector from the left to the right. Not just hold it out in front of you as you're walking. You need to swing left right, left right and keep it flat about an inch off the ground

Guys, IF the track is from the time of the Civil War, it is a minimum of 159 years old. Accuracy is important.
