Very nice relics and artifacts bud. The trigger guard from the trade musket is awesome. Nice job on the research too!
@HistoryHoundDetecting4 жыл бұрын
Thanks bud. I never would have dreamed that these little pieces of brass would tell me as much as what they have. A pure site and a good grasp of its history made it a lot easier.

Save it all because you have proof you may be able to add to it. The round piece with prongs may have hammered into the gun stock. My grandfather decorated his gun the native way and had studs on it. I would love to spend time at a cool place as this. I'm so happy the Nox is working for you.

Kathy Moll I’m really leaning towards the idea of brass tacks in the musket stock. I actually found that info out after uploading the video...so I put a tack decorated musket on my video title screen. I wondered if anyone would notice. :). God bless Kathy!

Cool I'm from Canada but we have a game similar to the peach pit game but the pieces are made with moose bones grinded down to a coin. We call the game;Waltes.

Love the trigger guard and the history behind it. The little button with two broken prongs looks like a leather decoration, most likely for a saddle. The prongs would be driven through the leather and bent over to hold it in place.
@HistoryHoundDetecting4 жыл бұрын
That’s kinda what I was thinking....just never saw one with two prongs before. Thanks for the help!
@tedrobinson57134 жыл бұрын
I believe some of those parts were from a older Firearm and I would venture to say a Blunderbuss
