Join me and Jocelyn (the "Relic Recoverist" on KZbin) as we have our first metal detecting hunt in the first evening we arrived in Shropshire England courtesy of Metal Detecting Holidays. This was a hunt we went to after our Garrett Metal Detecting appearance at the Detectival event. We were later joined by "Ringy" of "The Diggers" and Carlotta for a week's worth of metal detecting for treasure, hanging out, and having fun. Jocelyn found a ton of cool coins in this video. It's a must-see!!!

There are usually 'docs' leaves growing nearby nettles in the UK - in fact I can see there are some right in among those nettles and around about - squish up a leaf or two to get the juice and rub on the nettle sting, works to neutralise the sting a treat :)
@AndrexT
@AndrexT 5 жыл бұрын
If you get a nettle sting, rub it with a Dock Leaf which you will find growing nearby. I happened to watch this video for a second time, and can see Dock Leaves below and to the right of the nettles.

At 21:00 minutes . That thing you found with a thread on 1 end and wood in the other, is brass . And it's part of those rods that screw together and get pushed up toilet drains to unblock the pipes . I found the same in one of my videos 😁

@ 17:11 I believe that's an old brass carburetor port-jet plunger (throttle-speed port) (top of it got bent-was straight before).....probably off an old tractor's carburetor from the 1910's to 1930's. Someone was probably working on their carburetor and it fell off the tractor never to be found again until today. I sure bet that farmer was hot...losing that piece he needed so bad....those would have been hard to manufacture in any shop....he would have had to get another from the factory.

Why don't they make a pen pointer with the button in the grip so when you grab it the thing it's on and it can cycle a circuit that will keep it on 30 sec or a minute and when you let go it turns off. I have seen everyone of you guys and gals grab that thing only to find its not on. Or you left it on and now the batteries are dead. Just seems to makes sense. Happy hunting

Depends; not everyone's wired up to relate only on sexual terms & you'd know if your partner was/ wasn't? Or at least had morals. Tho' it does seem a weird thing among men to be 1-track minded? 😕 But not all! 😀 *tf*
