I sure do enjoy your videos of your adventures. I am old as "Pops" and somewhat disabled. Your enthusiasm has fired me up to get back to detecting as best I can. Picked up a AT Pro and some other accessories to update my equipment. Rainy and cold here at the moment but look out when the weather gets better as I will get my cane, detector, Pirahna, walker, and whatever out for the hunt. Thanks again for sharing your excitement.

That purse thing looks like it is part of the clasp from a pocket book purse...most of those were beaded purses that snapped closed...circa 1880-1920s. In the 20s...they were popular with flappers.

Thanks for the video. Your first two finds of lead remind me of that Charlie Brown Halloween cartoon where he goes out trick or treating and he gets rocks in his bag instead of candy - ha ha. From what I understand, after winter when the ground freezes things get pushed up closer to the surface of the Earth which is why you may be finding more in searched spots. Take Care

Brother a word of advice. Since you spend a lot of time outdoors. Consider carrying a small longarm or pistol for protection. not saying you'll encounter anything, but it pays to be careful. I don't know if you have bears, coyotes or wild hogs. hogs are the worst.
