I find your channel fascinating. You come up with the best finds. I don't know what I like more, your finds, or the old pics you put up. I miss watching Barney Miller. Maybe when i grow up (I'm only 56), I can get some great finds. I bought a detector a year ago but I never went yet 😂.

That "Mystery Solved" segment...The smaller clock. TOTAL flashback. Heard one of those for YEARS ticking & gonging away on my grandparents' fireplace mantle. "1763" comes to mind. Browsing images. "Attleboro" comes to mind. All of those close-up photos do as well. Hehe! The term was "gong" but it was actually a long piece of wire coiled up in a spiral which was struck at given intervals. That was about 30 years ago, so thanks for the memory! Forgot all about THAT thing. Tough to fathom how these days would have that clock about 260 years old. Simply did an image search under "antique clock" and voila! There it was. LOL!

Love that token. Ich bin auch eine "Military Brat". I lived in Mannheim 65-68, Karlsruhe 68-69 and Darmstadt 70-73. I got my first detector in 72 but didn't think about hitting old parks. I did find a WWII ammunition dump in a farmers field that the MPs quickly put up a fence around.
