Metal Detecting the places we will ALWAYS remember.

There are certain places in certain times when you go out searching for history, that you always remember. Sometimes it’s the finer other times it’s the place you were or the friend of mine you were in. For me it’s generally the people I’m with this is one of the most special days I’ve ever been out searching for history and will always be a day. I look back at the good old days.

Being a soldier, you know we tend to lay down in the prone position. That's usually when we lose everything. So if you find a bunch of bullets that isn't a fire pit, it could just be a place where somebody decided not to lose their head and hit the dirt

Awesome video! I finally got the D2 after you told me I should at Digstock last year. Is it possible to run that machine in the red hot soil down there? I was thinking about going to Kelly’s ford this month for a dig.

I just talked to someone who had been at Kelly’s Ford and said VLF were finding items so I would say yes it is possible. That said Kelly’s Ford has been hunted a bunch but they’re definitely still good Relics there.
