Metal Detecting w/LARGER Coil

I love that there's metal detectors that have bigger or smaller coils because it allows you to find deeper items or with smaller coils easier items that might not be to deep

I went with the SC24 which is a smaller coil on my DS!!!!! Love it in fact is my go to tot lot machine!!!!

One of my first finds at the beach was one of those gardening tools in pristine shape. Someone probably brought it for their kids to dig in the sand. What is the advantage of the larger coil ! Nice video !!!

I was worried you'd pull that last thing out. I'm pretty sure that's the ocean's plug. If you pulled it out the whole ocean may have went down the drain!

What are the benefits of a larger coil for beach work which seems to be your forte? Will a bigger coil increase depth detection of objects?

ok, it's not just me! i swing a 15 inch coil at the beach. i have the same problem of locating the target with it vs my 8 inch coil.
