Metal Detecting WW2 - Ring found next to German Bunker - Mills Bomb - Watch out for explosives!

Hello guys!
I have been detecting again.. first location was in Germany.. didn't found a lot of stuff.. but i found 1 item there that was worth it!
Next location was a location where i found sooooo many stuff a couple years ago.. so i thought, why not try it again!
We found some nice WWII relics, but not only from Germany and the U.S.!
There is a lot more to find there..
I also found some explosive related items.. please guys, be careful!

Wow that's the spirit I want to see, teaching ourselves that live ammunition is still very dangerous and we should proceed with extra care each time we go in a war area. The Mills grenade is a very interesting one and in my last trip I found half if it in a WW1 area. It was British ammunition used by the Russian army and sometimes were used as a rifle grenade on a metal rod. yes we have the Royal Logistics Corps Bomb Dispoal more than once lol allso 5km down the road we had a 250kg WW2 unexploded bomb discovered in Aston Gr Eric

with regards to the differnt bullets caings, you may find that signal corps were attached, as they some times are to allies, for communications, not saying it is, but my best bet. or engineers

ik heb gisteren ook lege k2 hulzen gevonden met een ovaal ingeslagen slaghoedje maar het waren geen 303 patronen maar leken meer op 30.06. verder is het jaartal 43 en staat er nog GIIZ op. uit welk wapen zouden deze verrschoten kunnen zijn?

Ok Nick ik moet zeggen, ik heb 1 keer een liferound van een geweer gevonden in Arnhem en ja die heb ik meegenomen naar het bungalowpark en daar hebben we de kogel der uitgehaald en ik heb hem nu nog steeds. Verder had ik nog een vraagje, wat betekenen al die gekleurde punten op de kogels precies? Ik heb in staelduinse bos een keer 9mm kogel gevonden (geen liferound :) en daar zat een rood randje omheen, weet jij wat dat rode randje betekent? Coole video! gr Mees

My .50 also says SL 43 and I found it with 3 others a live round a empty and a bended one and I have them in a special box and they are barely rusted (the live round has been emptied by the e.o.d ) I found them in Roermond

Die ijzer roden schijf is de achterkant van een fosfor granaat waarschijnlijk 105 Amerikaans het zit achter een fosfor granaat en dat plopt er af dus als de fosfor in aanraking komt met lucht gaat het roken

As far as I know the Americans used P 14 Snipers and P 17 rifles in WW1 so could it be that they also used them in WW2...???That would explain at least the Canadian ammo...

I've heard they used it as a firing range in WW2, that explains why i've found German, Canadian, British, American and Dutch ammo there. When the Germans were gone, the allies used it too :)
