The Maids are the best band on the planet. Love these beauties.

I think the fact that so many of their songs are about chasing your dreams, in spite of people who might think they’re foolish, keeps their mindset close to their roots, and humble. Like they’re always thinking that as hard as they work, it only means something because of the people who appreciate it. If Thrill hadn’t gone viral, they’d have been done, and I think that experience keeps them focused on their gratitude. Songs about love and relationships are a dime a dozen, but I’d never seen a band write so many about their love and relationship with their fans. It’s really something special.

That's a very good point about songs about the relationship between the band and their fans is pretty rare. I have since my first reaction felt like they were humble and very doting with their fanbase. That is so cool. These ladies are really something special. Thank you, my friend! 🤘❤️🤘

This was the final song of a 33 song, 3.5+ hour set. No encores from Band-Maid. They always give their audience the full show without making them beg for the last song. Easily the best band I've ever seen in 40+ years of concert going.

Wow! Over 3 and a half hours in concert. Now, that's giving it all to the fans and shows how much they love performing live. Thank you, my friend! 🤘❤️🤘

I've been a head banger since AC/DC played at my school when they were just starting out. I'm now 63 (next week). These young ladies are the last people I thought I'd be listening to on a daily basis (and have for the last 4 years). Since writing their own material, to me they have become one of the most talented bands of all time. There is never a dull moment in their arrangements ... always something happening and nothing gets repeated. In most cases you could write 2 or 3 different songs out of what they put into one, and will smash any genre they enter in to. You seem pretty genuine in your thoughts as well and I'm subscribin cos you have one hellava journey ahead of you with theses guys. Oh, an if this one was good, the next one will be better ... and that goes for every song you listen too from these guys. Consistently brilliant ... who woulda thought ... 5 little Japanese girls in maid outfits. Darren from Aust.

Thank you, friend! They have blown me away each time I react to one of their songs. They really blow my mind and always put a big smile on this bearded face. To be honest, hearing that the legendary AC/DC played at your SCHOOL is mind-blowing!!!! I can say I've listened to Metallica even before they released their first album and have been lucky enough to see them play at small clubs but to see them in my school? Nope! Band Maid is what I was looking for in rock for the last 20 years. Thank God for those ladies! I just heard they played a show with another band I've come to love, The Warning. I can't wait to check that one out. Until the next... Cheers, mate 🤘❤️🤘

Bemusing Bill, don't worry about tearing up. We all do once we hear this song. I do so everytime I hear the song. Great songs make an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This is one of them. Kanami said she composed the song to be an "anthem" song the audience could participate in. She nailed it!!!!!
@BemusingBill7 ай бұрын
Yes, she did! And the audience loved it! I agree, there are songs that just make that connection. It goes right down to your soul and reverberates with you. Thank you for watching, my friend! 🤘❤️🤘

the connection these ladies have with their fans is something i dont believe ive seen before in the rock world, i'm 70 yrs old and i've seen most of the classic rock bands several times, never seen this kind of connection before, and as i understand it even Lovebites was there

You are right- a love song to the fans? Unheard of!! They are so genuine and so unique. So happy I'm on this journey with all you MAIDIACS!! 🤘❤️🤘
@PapiNoob9517 ай бұрын
hey ! that song surely is beautiful and they even added some lyrics to thank the fans in this concert they're truly amazing . All tears and emotions aside I think most or all the maidiacs know what song you should react to next, and It's "HATE?" from their latest official live video and prepare yourself to be punched in the face if you choose this song :)

Three and a half hour concert. The final song. Over a years touring in the US and Japan. This concert live on line for paying customers. Yet at the end of the day we just want more. There are special songs and special bands. But few bands can bridge that gap between stage and audience like these ladies. They are something very special that rarely comes along and they consistently produces great music. Ten years together as a band and yet they are always getting better and better. Hard to believe.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う。I was there in Yokohama Arena with tears of joy and sadness to say good-bye to the ladies at last. (like you did today 😢) The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) A little off topic. I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya on March 20. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful singing, kudos to FIVE instrumental players ! (Saiki on piano)
@BemusingBill7 ай бұрын
Arigato tomoyo! I haven't seen Saiki on piano yet! I've put Daydreaming on my list. That must have been so incredible to see them live for an acoustic set. So very lucky, my friend! Thank you so much! 🤘❤️🤘

This MV (33 of 33 from the show) is 4 of 4 MV teaser before the Bluray/DVD release on Mar. 27, 2024. Was there (with about 10K others) and it was electromagnetic, Po! And, yes, this song is an anthem (love song) for us from Band Maid, Po! Btw, Saiki added a new last verse especially for this show. Every time 😭 - 🦍🍌
