Svågers ..means "brothers in law" Kim is married to Tommys sister and they are friends from childhood. Kim is amazing but is not active in any band that puts out music as I know of (shocking to say the least) and I hope he will do more in music and relase it . ..and Tommy plays a keytar :) its great that Tommy just moves over and adapt what needs to be, depending on who he create music with ..he makes both himself, the music and his fellow musicians shine

I Tommy is not leaving Sabaton right away ..from what I can see it seems like he will stay on until after the north america tour this spring (Tommy mentioned this on instagram) . That would give him plenty of time to "grandfather" the new guitarist in for Sabaton.

Like others said, Kim is Tommy's long time friend and his brother in law, he was in a few videos with Tommy already. Great guitarist, has a few videos on his channel too, but not many. He announced he's doing a Helloween cover, so I'm hoping that means he'll be more active now. Tommy didn't leave Sabaton yet, he's staying until after US tour with Judas Priest to ensure smooth handover to the next guitarist

Kim does a fantastic job on the guitar and I think that Tommy and him sound really well together. Sonata Arctica has been around for a very long time and their lead singer, Tony Kakko, has a great voice. That's another rabbit hole you might want to go down.
