I remember a bunch of people realising that when the demo came out and you could tap the Blade Mode button to cancel anything without losing meter. In the final game they nerfed this just a little by making even just tapping the button take a bit off.

Amaaaaazing. I really used to love this game, but then I moved onto DMC3. My biggest beef with this game was that I HATED how the counter was two of the most annoying buttons to push. I was too used to stuff like DMC Royal Guard and the one action button type deal.

my issue for me with this game is coming from the dmc series years back. the whole R1 to lock on and then having control/mobility strikes being tied to it made me get thrown off on this game.
