Metal Gear Solid 1 - Skipping The Hind Fight and going OOB

I activated it with gameshark yes. I just ran into the elevator but if you can glitch through the railing part you immediately fall down and can skip guard fight and immediately go to Wolf 2. AFAIK, you can get max life and ammo for weapons just by visiting the last boss area you can get life from (Mantis). You already pass through the Tank life upgrade, so the only one you can skip is Gray Fox.

I'll reply to both comments here. 1. You enter the fight with the Hind-D but you are stuck since the level 6 card door gets locked. 2. That's what we have been trying. Believe me if it was possible a video would be uploaded already. If people want to be of assistance and help break this, we need people to be in Comms Tower B area and check for any OoB. I used walk through walls on gameshark and you can activate the guard fight scene in lift. It doesn't even need to be a full OoB to work.

Does this work on the master collection? I currently have a stinger that doesn't work due to the vent glitch

Hey,i was playing my scond run in this game after a while and i accidentally skiped this batle,for some reason i nocliped the lvl 5 door where you got the stinger and went to the elevator and just nocliped and triggered the cutscene of the soldiers with stealh in the elevator 🤔,i think my old disc 1 is fucked up but all was normal until i got to that part of the game

@spidermarcel Do you remember anything about that? Like, if you were playing NTSC-U, NTSC-J Integral, or whatever other version, and which console or emulator? If PS2, were you using OpenPS2Loader or Fast Disc Speed enabled in the console options?

ive managed to recreate this on emulator with walk thru walls cheats. really interesetd in how you did this, if you can remember ^^

I have an idea but I don't now if it is possible, lets not fight the hind at all, and not use the elevator to go down, is there a way to go obb and go down the stairs, and go to wolf fight 2.

I already hooked my old PS to try. I didn't get your comment, did you manage to activate the elevator guard fight scene or do you want to? I want to ask another questions, what is the list of places I must pass by (before the hind) to rank up Snake life and the amount of ammo he can carry from each weapon.

hey magnum66, thanks for your glitches. I will try a few to unlock the Ninja Mod. Maybe it saves a few minutes for someone: Today I accidentally glitch the Hind Fight when I standing at the railing in front of the door and shoot with the Stinger the Box-(building) next to me - It pushed Snake back, he was blinking and then I fall very deep to the ground without taking damage. So now the Hind was not able to Hit me and I could shoot (with bandana) the Hind without paying attention.
