Olga and Vamp can be cheesed to make their fights easier. If you can set it up properly, Olga will end up running back and forth in the front side of her area, allowing you to keep shooting her in the shin through the crates until she falls. As for Vamp, you can hang over the tank and wait for Vamp to slowly approach you. Time your climb-up right and he won't harm you with his slash. Then you can repeatedly slap him as he keeps trying to slash you. I learned these cheese methods from George Salonikh, that MGS KZbinr who does MGS playthroughs for a living.

Followed the OP's video, first save before the guard rush, second at Fortune (49min, 112shot, 45damage), could go to Fatman if I know it's easy to go. Plan to have the next one before 1-2 bomb disposal.

This is completely normal, protecting Emma in the Oil Fence counts as a mandatory alert! You're good to go

you should end the game with 3 total alerts that are scripted. If your screen says 4 alerts, that's when you may want to consider loading an older save@@Hobcakes

it can be done in NG+, and it's probably recommended that you attempt Big Boss on NG+ precisely because you can skip the Peter cutscene that you mentioned. But you have to be careful not to equip any of the Special Items (wigs/stealth) that you may have in your inventory on NG+ @@max-power1023

Did you have to memorize the entire video before going for a run? Because for me when I copy what a yt vid is doing, I tend to stay in pause menu a lot and for this specific run that needs to be under 3grs, staying in pause takes up time.

I actually ended up practicing her in Boss Survival. You can only play on Hard, but it's still viable for practice. You gotta know when to take pot shots at her after she shoots at you some. You can do it! I still died quite a bit on my Big Boss run to her at times lol

@@sasuke.7251 you're actually on a good pace for saves. I'd recommend to next save when protecting Emma on the Oil Fence. Or you could save when you have to shoot Vamp. After that it's basically saving during one of the Tengu fights and the Ray fight. You could save on both Tengu fights and skip the Ray save if you're confident. Last save should be against Solidus imo

What happen is that right before the ames event, he save his game, reload that save file and then it makes the caution status to quit, so it is like nothing happen and thats why the guy with the shield doesn't show up

Btw if youre interested in saving a few seconds on the opening of the tanker and 2 shots you can run along the starting point and up the 1st set of stairs to the left jump over the box and over the rail to the door. There is chaff inside the locker after the 1st camera at the bottom of the stairs that lead up. 👍 God bless you bro !
