This is so surreal. It's like I have listened to your voice ever since I was a 12 year old boy and now at 30 hearing you in video form is quite the spectacle to behold. Out of every villain in History Liquid left a mark in my heart and as evil as Liquid was I Loved his character. But most importantly Kratos from Tales Of Symphonia to me is your best voice over work and thank you for shaping my life. Kinda wrote a few more paragraphs then my original thought, lol. The TLDR - yes you should play them! With modern computers you can play them off the original disc better than the original hardware or a PS4. Just re-setup my ps1 and 2 emulators...playing original MGS off the disc with all the added options making it look better is a treat. Or The Twin Snakes thru Dolphin with the HD texture pack. Then there’s the PS2 games...oh my! PS2 Snake Eater at 4k60 widescreen is quite a thing to behold. It’s been flawless up to my current save at Garniny Gorki...I’m pretty sure there’s no issues with it in PCSX2 anymore. Aside from lacking some extra control options I’d say it’s better than the HD collection on ps3. It will stay that way until RPCS3 can run the HD version at higher internal resolution... RPCS3 does however play Peace Walker from HD to near perfection at higher resolution and close to a locked 60fps. And so no one gets twisted...I have every one of those discs right next to my PC, just with proper settings the emulators work magic wringing every last bit of detail out of what was already there. Plus you can rip games for archive/disc free playback - so long as you’re not in it to download/trade a bunch of games you don’t own (I’m personally only interested in keeping my collection as playable as possible) I don’t think there’s any legal issue running these emulators - ePSXe and RPCS3 can run without a bios but there’s ways to get the bios off your PS1 + PS2 just so you’re not downloading anything illegal. I know it’s a bit long winded; surprisingly people still suggest to me that using an emulator is illegal - maybe they assume using an emulator means having to pirate the games? It doesn’t; if you have the knowledge and the hardware, you can rip all your carts/discs for archive...sometimes the games load faster when run off an SSD too.

We were unburdened by work, schedules, bills and other responsibilities back then. Biggest "problem" of life was the exams and homeworks we had to take.
