I prefer the dialogue of the original, because in this game the voice acting sounds kind of lifeless. The music was a nice addition, but I also enjoy the music from the original.

I hadn't noticed that before, but you're right! How odd. This was the version of the game I played growing up, and I played it after having played MGS2 so I was thankful for the improved controls and graphics 😅
