undoubtedly metal for sure. Even the cheaper mesh grills on today's fans are what I'd go over plastic.

Metal is stronger but plastic looks better IMO. These Vortices are lovely fans. I've got quite a few versions. Ill be doing a video of the Nordik 40 that i rebuilt after being smashed in transit

Really unfortunate to hear that nordik 40 got smashed in transit. Was it just the grill that shattered or other parts as well? Also is that those 4 bladed larger varients?
