I have the candy apple red version but looks more burgundy in color...words fail to say what an incredible guitar this is...new mint condition,plays beautifully...I keep her in an XL coffin case...cool video you made here.

Thank you🤘I’ll have to look into a coffin case. How’s your finish holding up? I might just polish mine, I like the satin look but it’s already getting shiny spots on the body from my arm and where I kind of anchor my pinky when I palm mute. I’ve been using the Gator case for “extreme shapes” it’s a little tight but cost effective over the ESP case.

@GhostDragon1182 the finish seems fine,but I always lightly polish it after each session..the coffin case,the large one works good for now but I do want to be a form fitted case when possible.My arrow had a wonky toggle switch,but got her fixed...IMO still can't beat these for the price point.

@@guntotinguy16 just about every import guitar I’ve had needed the toggle switch cleaned with deoxit or replaced at some point. The shops are just dustier there.

@@jug1415 the charcoal burst is a great looking guitar too, I wish they would have kept that in the lineup. The brown burst is kinda meh to me.

Great review. I'd like to purchase one .. I can only get it from Thomann and I'd like the white one. They dont seem available. I wonder if they'll be back. An E-II doubles in price without stainless steel frets.

I really wish they’d make a white LTD with a Floyd. The E-II is really nice but not having stainless steel frets is a bummer. I’m not sure why they haven’t made the switch, unless is a Japanese thing, I don’t know.

I got one just before the new year started. I wanted the Violet Andromeda one but that is nigh impossible to come by but the Candy Apple Red Satin one (which is also very hard to get) became available out of nowhere in a store. I made a dash for it considering that I would need to put my name on a waiting list or something to get one if I didn't grab that one. Honestly, these guitars have been so hard to get that it has been easier to get E-II Arrows and Original Series Arrows (I got one of the Original Series Arrows since) I have the one with the Fishman Pickups, I like that one more but the Candy Apple Red one is gorgeous and plays like butter. Just very high quality guitars. Not cheap but more affordable.

ESP has been having supply issues, at least with the LTDs from what I’ve seen. People in guitar groups I watch will post their new guitars with stuff like “waiting 8 months for this”. It’s been pretty nuts. I’ve been watching the E-II series because they have a white Arrow but I haven’t seen one come down into a price range I like yet. I’ve been pretty happy with every LTD I’ve bought and I’d even go so far to say they’re some of the best guitars I own. For what I do and the specs they come with they just really can’t be beat. Just wish they had some more color variety.

@GhostDragon1182 when they first came out I managed to grab one,the only one at that time and sure glad I did...took that little guitar store almost over a year before the got more in...and yeah that was years ago. Mines more burgundy in color,the others I seen a year later were more candy apple red...also noticed a little price jump too.Lucked out I guess...

@@GhostDragon1182Yeah…I found that the E-II Arrows look very dull and plain compared to the LTD’s and the Original Series which are so much more vibrant. The one with the “coffee with milk” finish looks rather unattractive in my opinion. Also, the LTD’s are built out of mahogany which I prefer to alder anyway (that the E-II’s are) Yup…the supply issues are pretty rampant and people have had to wait obscene amounts of time for their instruments. This was why I made a dive for the CARS Arrow, I knew I wouldn’t see another one for several months.

Where were these made? Korea or Indonesia? I have the Violet Andromeda from Korea and it's flawless, at least to me, and I love this guitar!

Mine both were made in Korea, coincidentally I just found out both these guitars seem to have been discontinued.

@@GhostDragon1182 I noticed that too, and the replacements are $400 - $500 more, and not as much of a fan of the new colors, although I have a ESP LTD EC 1001 (I haven't seen another 1001 since) Floyd rose model that's similar to the new colors for the Arrow 1000 that I like a lot. I love the feel of the ESP necks too. A lot of bang for the buck in my opinion.

@@curtdkrueger looking more into it, a lot of stuff is gone so they might be doing a mid year revamp. I do have my fingers crossed for a white arrow with these specs. But pretty much every LTD I bought in the last 2 years is gone from their site.
