"Digital Shadow" while doing paperwork. I keep up expecting individual instrumental flourishes, like a guitar solo here and the drums swell there but they aren't there or they're shallow somehow, as when imitating a guitar playing on a synth-keyboard-It's with those considerations in mind that it comes across as oddly flat. That's when one can tell it's autogenerated or whatever the term is. That ephemeral faux quality was the only thing stopping me from truly liking it, as I keep feeling like it was lacking some aspect. I hope this...explanation(?) helps.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Digital Shadow was one of the first songs I made with AI and since then a lot of improvements have been made to the Ai to create better music. Of course it is still music made with AI, but the tools are slowly improving getting to a point where it gets harder to tell, that it was made by AI.
