I'd say, Hypa Hypa was their "back to the roots" track and Hate/Love more like their later stuff. Both styles are sort of EC currently. I personally enjoy the "older" stuff way more and love Hypa Hypa so let's hope more in that style will come with their album in 2021.

The issue for me with this song is, there was no progression in terms of intensity, like, Hypa Hypa starts chill, goes intense, goes chill, goes intense, climax, fadeout and ends intense. This song however, it felt like the same intensity throughout, and, strangely, the breakdown felt like the most chill part which is just weird..

I think they could've gone harder on the breakdown and the last run of the chorus but i absolutely loved this track. It's a nice blend of different genres. It's always good to see singers that are able to both scream and sing, where Hypa Hypa really showed off the new vocalist's ability to scream, this showcased his singing.

After hearing this guy's around 9 to 10 years now, I hoped it would be sth like this. I've heard so much people now, who just had known hypa hypa and Mc thunder (which I both love), but it's just one side of them and I would say nico showed us the new voice behind EC much better then in hypa hypa and I loved it! Btw the chorus actually sound like the chorus of the offspring - head around you but still with his own special EC-touch. Go out and compare them, you will now what I mean.xD but this fact let me enjoy the song much more, because it gives me those good old offspringi punk vibes, I love, since I started listening to music as a whole. Also greetings from Germany and check out more their old stuff! Like VIP or "the scene feat. I think the "problem" is that Hypa Hypa got bigger than they could imagine. So it's always difficult to release something that is as big as the first extremely brutal smasher

I think this track is awesome. If their only attraction is the goofy costumes, ridiculous music videos and silly song premises, they are gonna run out of steam eventually. I think this song is a good way for them to show they can write good music that isn't just silly dance metalcore. Though I will admit, this song definitely sounded too "safe for radio."

Hypa Hypa is typically the style they do. A lot of their earlier albums are just fun tracks. But to be fair, for it being more serious, I fuck with it. Incredible song in my opinion, it’s just so different in sound to their old singer. But you can tell the songwriting is far more polished than earlier stuff
