I never was a huge Erra fan as I am no musician and they always seemed "to progy" to me to listen to but now, I went throught all their catalog and I bloody love every single piece of music that they ever put out. It is absolutely otherworldy and I love that. Being a creative driven person their music is able to inspire me and give me energy I´ve not experienced many times before

@@tromboneman4517 of course, it's just felt like for the past few years bands that used to nail it completely just forgot how to write fun energetic 0 breakdowns. It's quite funny how that's generally the least difficult part of a song to write. Most of the time it just felt like they were trying to skirt around having a fun breakdown even if it feels like it would fit perfectly after a buildup or bridge.

I love this band to bits. While others are copying each other, ERRA always stand out. Always innovating, masterful and genuine. You can just tell with every release, they're always strive for quality. Always picking up the current cliches in the genre and turn them into something else into a higher level.

@@JR-90 Because it doesn't fit the flow of the rest of the album. And they recorded it with their previous record label. This album is with a new label so presumably the last one owns the rights to Eye Of God and it's also produced differently.

My first show ever (2022 haha) was the Beartooth The Below Part 2 set in Anaheim, Erra opened with this song haha. Immediately got smacked in the face by that intro riff. Followed by Devil Weirs Prada, Silverstein, and then Beartooth. It was sick as fuck.

I didn’t get into ERRA until drift.I’ve listened to their older albums and while I can appreciate them,there’s no denying that this was the lineup and sound that ERRA was always meant to be.I hear so many influences in this new album.Am i the only one getting like real heavy tool vibes on some of this shit.Like if tool played 7 strings,added a screamer,and traded Maynard for Chester.That’s what I get anyway.

Nobody talks about Remnant or Memory Fiction on the album but those two are definitely my favorites. That solo at the end of Remnant just puts a huge smile on my face. It’s not even a technical solo but the notes he uses are beautiful.
