This song absolutely needs the lyrics and is paired with Lividi sui gomiti. Only in this way you can understand that in the past they bite the bullet how many times in Italy. A lot of people always laughed at them even though they were 17/18 years old and this is their revenge. I'm very sorry for my bad English i hope you understand. Greetings from 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

I'm 53 years old and a rock fan since I was 15. Back in my day, there was no Internet and my English comprehension skills were not as good as they are today; plus, screamed, fast lyrics are sometimes tough to understand even for native speakers. I would go months enjoying songs and albums without knowing what they were about, until some friend bought the album and the lyrics would sometimes be on the inner sleeve, but sometimes they wouldn't because I love music from the 60s and the 70s and including the lyrics was not so common back then. Of course lyrics are important but not so important that you can't enjoy the music. Just my 2 cents.

Their biggest influence is 70s classic rock, then Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and surely Rage Against the machine. But the point is that, each of them, has different tastes and, in turn, each of them puts its own brand.

Hmmm i dont really agree with the comfort zone. He dives into rap, rock, pop rockish, reggae, and that takes guts and being really secure and knowing your capabilities. That is why everything sounds amazing with his voice, because he knows very well his "instrument". His voice it s really special, because he is naturally raspy, but he has a strong voice and he can also belt it out notes. You should check torna a casa acapella, back to black which is a cover, coraline.

1:56 I think you have to care about the lyrics too. Yes it's true, it's not important that there is no music video, but I think you should read the lyrics every time you listen to Måneskin songs. The lyrics are almost always more important than the video.😉

You can’t miss CORALINE a masterpiece both for the music and the lyrics. For this it is important you react to a video with English subtitles

Damiano doesn't rap, it's just italian spoken quickly. By the way their influences are the rock of 70', red hot chili peppers, palaye royale and so on. Other people who reacted as you on "in nome del padre" said the same thing: rage against the machine vibes. Great reaction but for the italian songs of maneskin you should read the lyrics while listening, trust me. Please react to "coraline" with english subtitles.

Here are the translated lyrics of In Nome Del Padre: IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER I've tried to get rid of that feeling of being unwanted And I've failed a thousand times, but I've tried I've carried weights on my back and then I fell I've bled from my nose and I stood up again But I'm twenty and I'm already wondering if I'm too tired If what I need is what I've desired If one day I'll be able to feel fulfilled And I'm scared And you, keep yourself one step away from my ass, you dickhead I've always chosen to be one and one only To touch the sky and go back to bite the asphalt Sometimes I cried, but this is not stopping me I want my payback You, keep yourself one step away from my ass, you dickhead I've chosen to be one and one only To touch the sky and go back to bite the asphalt In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Make way, a lot of it Cause now the world isn't enough for me, the stage isn't enough They've called me all sorts of things, even coward I've died more than a hundred times, never died in vain You, tell me what you're hiding, what's in your palm? Why do you call me a madman after looking at me? If you think I've changed, that I'm someone else You didn't understand shit, so why the fuck are you looking at me? And you, keep yourself one step away from my ass, I'm telling you again I've chosen to look beyond what I see I don't forget my past, I don't deny it Hit hard, I won't fall, I'll still stand You, keep yourself one step away from my ass, you dickhead I've chosen to be one and one only To touch the sky and go back to bite the asphalt In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Ah, ah, ah, ehi In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit For what I've lived, the time I've wasted You thought I was dead and then I was reborn Has someone ever talked to you about what being an artist is? About all that I lost, that I sacrificed About losing your voice, being left with no breath About having a thousand people waiting for one your mistake Knowing that each wrong step will be condamned I often wonder if I've just been lucky And the push of my anger doesn't end I hope that paper will take my past away It's crazy, this is crazy, you ask why I'm doing it In the name of the Father, of the Son, the Holy Spirit lyricstranslate.com/de/nome-del-padre-name-father.html

definitely RATM - you're spot on (and Zitti And Buoni too has a similar influence). Then, the moment you try to categorize this eclectic band they come up with something completely different and You're left stranded and confused (guarantee). There is no genre they haven't covered apart from Jazz and Classical Music.

I don't agree with the comfort zone comment to be honest but- I do agree with the one about it being difficult to switch to different genres with one's voice simply. Also, if anyone wants a translation of the lyrics, I've uploaded one months ago (can't remember when but there's a playlist set up 😅). P.S. I really love the way the bass enters again towards the end of this song.
