Man, this long play is as amazing as it had always been.... .....dude, you showed a lotta secrets I didn't know before..... Like, those gold coins falling at the river after shooting a part of the ceiling, never seen it. Niiiice! ......although, there is a points source that you may have missed (or skipped?) to farm from. That boat where the Rebel Soldiers are spawning.... By stabbing each one that comes out from it, you're gonna get a hell lotta points from it. And when it sinks halfway, a few more soldiers will appear...... another source of points. That was how I collect spontaneous points at MS3 - the easier way. The other points source with the Killer Fishes in the river.... i can't spam as much bones and Ammo from it.... them fishies are reaching me, and die. XD Overall, pretty good! Keep these long plays coming! (y)

Even though the rebels in sasquatch route of mission 2 are saved and counted as POWs in the recaptured prisoner list but in the end of the mission they are not shown in the list of the saved POWs but they all are replaced by the yellow beard hippies while still counting the last remaining POWs as the new POWs of MS3 in the end such as Madoka Aikawa, Utan and President while in other missions, Rumi Aikawa and Hyakutaro.

I'm a casual player, the best i can do is at normal difficulty and save states before start every mission, hard place and boss battle (i play on anthology version), anything beyond that it starts to become too annoying

Like i mean the 4th mission boss and the last one with the brain outside in metal slug 3, those 2 bosses the are very, very difficult. I also had to be very patient. Countless runs were ruined while making a No Death run Longplays. Anyways, here is my strategy against the boss of Mission 4 (known as "Sol Dae Rokker") and the last boss (known as "Rootmars") of the Final Mission. -The strategy against the boss of Mission 4: Sol Dae Rokker First off, the only vulnerable spot on the boss of Mission 4 is his red gem in the middle of him, so only aim for that. Also, his health is easily readable by the color he is, the more red you see, the less health he has. Now, his attacks. First, the one that seems to get everyone but is also the easiest to dodge. When a purple glow appears under him, he will drift to one side. When he does this, run to the opposite side (not towards him) as far as you can and stay on the opposite edge and wait, the boss should stop right in front of you, and then he will drift back to the middle. His second attack, the wolves. Some ghost type wolves will appear out of his torches on either side of him, they will take a few loops before kamikazeing you. Stand still and just make sure to jump left or right when you see that the wolves are rushing down on you. His last 2 attacks are very similar, but not exactly the same. First, yellow spikes will circle around his gem. These will fire at random so watch out, observe carefully and try your best to dodge them. His last attack is his red spikes, these may seem to be the same as the yellow spikes but they are not. The boss will lock on to you, then he will fire about 5 at a time where you last were, with more waves depending on how damaged he is. Once you destroy his red gem in the middle of him, he will be defeated and will fall onto the building. -The strategy against the last boss of the Final Mission: Rootmars Rootmars only has 2 attacks. First off, launch all of your cannon fodder and keep a constant stream of vulcan on it. When you see the wave attack or the acid attack spit out of its mouth coming, dismount your Super Vehicle Type 001 "Metal Slug" and jump onto his brain to use all of your grenades and other fire power on him, then jump back in when you see the wave attack or the acid attack and use your vulcans again. Keep repeating this over and over again. Once you do a lot of damage, your allie will come in a ship and help you. Keep attacking the Rootmars and try your best to dodge its attacks and after a while it will be defeated. Well, that's it. I really hope my strategy against the "Sol Dae Rokker" and "Rootmars" will help you out.

Is this true? You can earn 500,000 extra points against first level Boss. Begin the fight and injure him until it smokes. Then constantly go right, let the timer go under 30, and kill it. When your character stops, quickly press Start and hold A+B+C+D.

Hey Turkish, now i have been playing metal slug 3 in 4hours ago. I have a problem with the mission 4 boss in LEVEL 8, it gives me tough time when it turns into a RED COLOUR. 1st - how can i dodge those 4wolves that comes out in left and right. 2nd - i don't know what do they call those yellow bullets, i want help in dodging them also. So specifically the boss gives me a problem when it turns into a RED COLOUR, because everything about it, it becomes fast. I'm looking up to you bro and i trust your strategies. THANK YOU

@bakunin ulianov When you are on top of the truck while piloting the LV Armor, run to the far edge, hold the right direction button and jump forward at the right moment. When you are halfway to get to the other side, press the jump button again to do the double-jumping in midair while holding the right direction button in order to reach the top of the other side. The timing with the jump and double-jump needs to be perfect, in order to reach the top of the other side.
