Metal Slug 3 - Mission 05 (Final Mission) (Raine Emulator) - Gameplay

Metal Slug 3 is a run-and-gun video game that was developed by SNK and originally released in 2000 for the Neo-Geo MVS arcade platform as a sequel to Metal Slug 2/Metal Slug X. The game's music was composed by Noise Factory.
Several new features, including additional weapons, vehicles, and branching paths, are introduced in Metal Slug 3, building upon the gameplay of the original Metal Slug and Metal Slug 2. Generally positive reviews were received by the game upon its release.
Several years prior, the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force thwarted an attempted coup d'état against the world's governments by the nefarious General Morden. After an alliance was formed by Morden with an alien race in a bid to stage another coup, he was betrayed and captured by his new allies. As a result, an impromptu alliance was formed by his rebel troops with the Strike Force, leading to the defeat of the aliens and the presumed death of Morden. Cpt significantly influenced the defeat of Morden during the first coup. Marco Rossi and Lt. Tarma Roving. After their promotions, Major Rossi and Captain Roving led the fight against Morden during the second coup, joined by two members of the Intelligence Agency's Special Ops Squad, S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S.: Sgt. Eri Kasamoto and Sgt. 1st Class Fiolina Germi.
Since then, years have passed, and Morden is now listed as missing by his remaining followers. Determined to eliminate any remnants of Morden's power base, Rossi and Roving are dispatched by the army to systematically dismantle the rebel strongholds. However, during the fighting, suspicions arise in Rossi and Roving that the enemy's organization may suggest Morden is still alive. Meanwhile, a series of strange events are uncovered by the S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S., leading to the army's conclusion that the aliens with whom Morden once allied himself may have returned.
Once again, the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force and S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S. are united and dispatched to confront this new threat. After numerous battles against Morden's forces, Morden himself is finally faced by the heroes. Upon his defeat, it is revealed that he is, in fact, an alien in disguise, and the real Morden has been captured by the aliens. The player character is then abducted by the aliens and taken away from Earth. At this juncture, another character steps in to replace the captured player character. An impromptu alliance is formed between the Strike Force and Morden's troops to rescue their captured comrades. An armada of rocket ships is launched by the rebels to attack the alien mothership, Rugname. After a grueling battle within the ship's interior, extensive damage causes the Rugname to begin collapsing. The ship's core is destroyed, and the Strike Force must then fight their way through armies of clones of their captured comrade, some of whom have been transformed into zombies. Ultimately, the captured members of the Strike Force and Morden are rescued. As they make their escape, they are confronted by the alien leader, Rootmars. A final battle ensues in Earth's atmosphere, resulting in a victory for the Strike Force, who leave Rootmars' body in the ocean. Upon witnessing Morden and his men celebrating, the player character, in a fit of disgust, throws their weapon into the water.
