I hardly even wanted this ending. Having Tarma and Eri visit my chosen fighter in hospital after they returned from their own assignment leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I always manage to escape from the climactic explosion.

Here's something more funny about the bad ending, if you're playing the arcade version of Metal Slug 4, there's a debug menu where you can trigger the endings while playing, the game will actually load the bad ending with 2 Marcos as a null character, it's really funny seeing it

The good ending feast scene would’ve been better on an tropical beach setting with a huge slab of prime rib, giant roasted pig over a pit oven and an oversized beer keg in the background.... Throw in a rock & roll band played by grateful rescued prisoners military vehicles in grass skirts & bikinis dancing the hula.

It's because the game wasn't developed by the same peoples who made the previous ones, they reused the stage, I was annoyed by the audio quality, Mission 4 has the mummies and zombies back, but what's so confusing is that the characters are not using their actual death noise when they died in their zombie form, I was playing as Marco and died in the zombie form, he was using Trevor's voice instead of his
