@X Y thinks items are needed too to reduce the cost of ultimate units if I'm right. And overall, I feel like the PM one is still by FAR the most terrifying, as it freezes you completely the second it appears: none of your units can do anything anymore, and you don't even earn AP either... no more dodging enemy attacks either, meaning the user of the PM ultimate unit has free reign to murder you of put you on a serious back footing, no matter what you had already in play the Invader king is REALLy nasty with how large it's death explosion is.. but that can be worked around if you can push hard enough (and instant kills for getting too close to one's base is nothing new)... the PM ultimate unit has no real counter other than praying your frontline can hold long enough without any ability or reinforcment

NOTE: Since I'm doing pros and cons for units, I wanted to go back to at least gloss over the ultimate bosses for future reference Probably the rush deck's Ultimate boss of choice if not the independent one. Pros: -Drops onto the front line on spawn, as does most ultimate bosses -Immune to stun, like with all other ultimate bosses -Its ability, Frenzy, means you can rapidly spam units with no cooldown, meaning if when you drop Invader King onto the battlefield you can drop down more straight after if you have the AP to spare -1000 AP makes it one of the cheapest UBs to spawn -Doesn't mind knockback so much and barely moves back at all, has an I-frame counterattack when knocked back -Has one of the most powerful and long-range suicide attacks that oneshots the base with ease -You pretty much win if you get it close enough since its death will destroy the base -Jumps to move around, so instantly goes from one place to another -Pretty solid I-frame special attack with decent range and base killing potential Cons: -Investment-heavy and extremely expensive, as is with all ultimate bosses -Its ability is only unlocked if you use it in a single faction deck (Space Army) -13 mil hp is middling numbers for a front line UB -Not really a UB for extended fights, more of a UB more suited for ending battles quickly. -Space Army is a pretty bad single faction to lock yourself into using... -Its large size means it eats more damage than it'd like -Small enough units can avoid being it by its special attack entirely -Mid range attacks means it will never threaten backliners unless it dies, but even then that's a maybe. -Special attack's duration is too short to ensure it remains in an almost constant I-frame -Shares the movement problems Anastasia I has, so ST Norah's rock can send it all the way to its own backline and keep it there.

The Invader King is honestly such a cool creature. The chest is a bit misleading, but everything else about him is just... cool. Can't describe it any other way. Especially since he just completely one-ups the Martians and the Rebel Army, forcing them to work alongside the heroes to defeat him.
