These games are treasures. I know, I should be gushing on Subaru (and I am) but just having her playing MS is phenomenal.

@@HiTecAztec 9.25 usd on 2000 is like 17 usd today, all in all it would be worth it to play such a great game. I don't have an arcade near me with Metal Slug, only time crisis and other such game, I played it on PS1 I think and it was a lot of fun

The arcade we played it at had the difficulty all the way up. I remember it cost $15(ish) and 2 of us playing to beat it. Plus we always had greasy pizza hands

I remember in highschool with my friends going to this local pizza place that had SF2, and a NeoGeo MVS with Metal Slug X and KOF 98, and some shmup. Have such great memories playing Metal Slug. NeoGeo was the only console you never met anyone that owned it

I remembered playing Metal Slug , i think i played Metal slug 1-2 with my brothers , damn such a nostalgia , i was like grade 3-4 that time and i think it was 7-8 years ago . The only thing i remembered in the game is the Big human like Monster/Alien(?) And the only reason that it was the only thing that i remembered because that sh!t scared me when im still a kid lmao I wouldn't Thought i would see the Game again for so many Years and it was Subaru that playing it

I didn't think you _could_ knife the guy! He's always shooting or throwing things so much that I can't get close enough! Thankfully though, I _did_ learn his pattern eventually.

@@phantomy2034 you can, but he'll just whip around his ammo belt and kill you if you stay too long. Subaru was able to do it by using the invincibility time after reviving.

@@phantomy2034 ah you're right. I see that he's holding a knife at the end of the animation. It just seemed to me he's whipping the ammo belt since he's always holding it with his hand other than when he's throwing grenades. My mind (all these years) then tell me that he's whipping around the ammo belt, which is much more cooler in hindsight (imagine whipping an ammo belt around so fast and hard you killed a guy with it) Either way, the only way I know to knife fight Allen safely is closing in during the few second your character is invincible after reviving.
