Metal spindle layout and install tips

Question I just had something like this similar done a couple of my shoes on the top rail have fallen down and the set screw is stripped out is there anyway that I can kind of fix this issue? Pulling baluster out and replacing the shoe is not an option because the contractor put liquid nails in the top and the bottom holes. Any tips

Put some clear silicone on the inside of the shoe and tape it up ( just a few dabs, you don't want to see it squeeze out anywhere? and leave it till silicone sets up then take tape off.

Get To The Point Ok.....but another question for you. What exactly is the adhesive sticking to ? Hopefully I’m making sense..... So is the couple dabs of adhesive adhearing to the baluster itself ?

What size are the balusters (1/2”, 3/4”, etc)?

Ballasters are 1/2 in shank top and bottom

Nice video, thanks so much, one question how did you attach the hand rail to the newel and rosette. I assume you either shot some finishing nails or screws?

Screws in the back of rosset 1st then after its in with spindals nail rosset to wall and then predrilled 2 finish head screws in newel side and fill holes before paint
