Dan has so much versatility with his voice. Sometimes we get so wrapped up with his metal singing and screams (love it), we forget he has a fantastic voice for other genres. With all of his songs, you feel the passion and I love his interpretations. You feel what he is saying. He’s not “just singing”. Would love to hear your reaction to Dan’s Gethsemane….that too is Broadway worthy.

I am just amazed that Dan is not a major superstar. He is probably one of the best singers today. I can listen to him all day. He can sing any type of music from classical, country, and rock. There are very few artists like him.

Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained, he sings opera to heavy metal and everything in between. All his recordings and videos are done in his garage.

Please react to Dan singing Nessun Dorma from Giacomo Puccini’s Italian opera Turandot. One of the most difficult opera songs for the male tenor voice. Performed in Italian, the power in his voice especially when hitting incredibly difficult high notes for the tenor range is mind blowing to experience. I know it’s not metal, but the difficulty level is off the charts for most singers of opera and of course Dan makes it look effortless. I’m on disability due to spinal cord issues and multiple other issues or I would gladly pay just to see your reaction. I understand u have many other songs to react to so I’ll be on the look out when and if you can react to it. Thanks love ur reactions and you ❤

Yes, Dan is the front man for Fearless, the metal band he and friends formed several years ago. They currently perform live only in Brazil and Dan did mention he's working on new music which I believe is for Fearless and will be recorded and performed live by them as well as being available online. I can't wait!!!

Just a little additional info - Dan's parents were both musicians. His father gave him the harmonica he plays on Amazing Grace and in other videos, too, when he was 7 and his mother sang opera. It took Dan a while to decide to pursue music professionally but I'm SO grateful he did!!! 🙂

"Dan-tom of the Opera" made me giggle a lot more than it should have. Happy to see people checking out older covers Dan has done. You're right; he never half-asses. He always delivers. I got my mom into Dan recently, via his Amazing Grace cover. She refuses to listen to any of his metal (she's old and scared of metal) but this was one she was jamming to earlier today. Such a lovely performance.

This one really showcases Dan's versatility. It is extremely difficult to sing that softly, especially on a high note, and maintain pitch and clarity. His breath control is other worldly. On a side note, you have become my absolute favorite reactor! Thanks for reactions to Dan!

G'day John, This is by far my favourite version of this song. Daniel brings all the emotional depth required for this one. The first time I heard it was when it made it's debut with Sarah Brightman (then wife of Andrew Lloyd Webber) and Michael Crawford (Frank Spencer in "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em"). The only other person I've heard perform it was Australian performer Anthony Warlow, who also has a beautiful voice. However, Daniel beats them both but then again, I'm just a smidge biased when it comes to this stunning young man ❣️ 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Dan's covers are not to be played in the background while doing something else, imo. I have to watch his performances. I love seeing his emotions & raw talent. He doesn't perform anything halfway. So...why have you not checked out any Tommy Johansson? He is a FAR superior vocalist, and a multi-instrumentalist! Often referred to as, "the male Floor" (as in Floor Jansen of Nightwish), Tommy Johansson is not just the lead guitarist in Sabaton, he also takes already great songs, and upgrades them w power metal swagger! On Tommy's YT channel, check out his cover of The Phantom of the Opera...he sings *both parts*! You're missing out on greatness!
