The female singer is Minna Seo. She is a 20 year old So Korean jazz singer. I read she is call “ the Princess of Jazz”. She & V’s voices blended so well. To me V’s voice is like silk & honey & envelopes you in a warm hug that penetrates your soul. A big thank you to his Grandmother who helped raise V till he was 14 & who introduced V to the old classics, R&B and of course, JAZZ. I want more of jazzy V.

This was such a freaking treat! V in his jazzy zone and she had such a lovely, pure sound. The band was incredible, love to see docskim on the keys and John eun on the guitar, especially when you think about how docskim was going to leave music until he started working with Namjoon on indigo..... what a tragedy that would have been!!

Taehyung is a natural crooner and does struggle, if you can call it that, in Kpop. They do tend to make him sing way higher than he should. His chest voice is soooo dreamy. DID I SAY TAEHYUNG CAN SCAT! There is no doubt he could have an amazing solo career but BTS without him just is a no go LOL

Happy Father's Day John. Thank you for all you do. Do you remember that episode of V taking a road trip? The playlist that he went through on that trip shocked me. It included Bing Crosby and Procal Harem, the UK rock group from the 60's. And he knew all the words to both! What is the Venn Diagram for that? His knowledge of western music history is unbelievable. What a musical vocabulary. I thought it was interesting that he made very little eye contact with his duet partner, Minna Seo. Usually, when I watch jazz duets there is a lot of give and take done visually. I know he studied jazz prior to joining BTS, I didn't know he kept it up. Brilliant. I can see real possibilities for a career in Jazz for our dear V. I can listen to that sultry, dark, baritone voice forever.

Thanks for a great reaction. This was the best gift. You can tell that Tae really loves and takes Jazz seriously. He nailed not only the vocals but the whole atmosphere of Jazz from his clothing, the set, the live instruments. I love how Tae and Minna Soe's voices blend and I hope they do many more songs/performances together. She did the backing vocals for the version of It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas that Tae gave us for Christmas last year. I am so happy Tae is pursuing his love of Jazz and I'm sure he'll also pursue his love of R&B/Soul as well. I've been eager for his solo album and his performances like this make me even more so. Yeah, me too. I have watched the original video and 4 reactor videos because I can't get enough of this. TaeTae's deep and sexy voice and the lady's voice was so perfectly blended and the live band just put the intimate performance over the top and made it perfect. 🥰 I really can't wait for TaeTae's KTH1 Album to drop.
