Btw this opening song is about a pair of the main characters(the wolf and the bunny), and the ending song “Yasashii Suisei” is about the other pair of the characters(the deer and the lion), which is also great, also by yoasobi, and it has a THE FIRST TAKE version! You'll be surprised by how good the Beastars series is. Also the well know King of OSTs, including not only Openings and Endings, but also ambience in the espisodes is Bleach. It has 17 openings, 34-35 endings, and all of them are amazing.

The buzzing distortion on the bass does sooo much for me. It's such a satisfying texture. But yeah, now that I'm listening to this one again after listening to The Blessing and Idol for a while, you can really hear the Yoasobi DNA in this song. It used to be I only noticed the wild and bouncy synth keys in the background, because I love "Yoru ni Kakeru" a lot, but now it's more phrases that sound like callbacks (The Blessing really reminds me of this song even though they're different-- and also the entire first EP they put out is all about reusing motifs as a throughline), and like how Ayase structure the breakdowns that lead up to Ikura jumping up a notch for the final chorus, etc

I love this despite not (yet) having seen the anime. The dark sound combines with the almost hopeful lyrics is very well done, and I like the English version too (but I guess both are typical for Yoasobi)!

WOW!!! I love this Anime\Manga so much! It's REALLY good! The lyrics fit beautifully to the song. There are a lot of inner struggles in the series, fighting your demons, love, and war with others. Such a great show!!! This is such a great song, the outro song is really good too btw :D
