This song was actually in the ending of Demon Slayer movie...everything is extremely fitting to the movie...she's and amazing singer and the emotions she puts into her music makes it aw so inspiring and leaves you in awe. I tear up every time it's insane..

This is the first time I’m learning of LiSA. She performed beautifully on First Take. Since this is Japanese, I believe this song Homura is pronounced as ‘Hoh-moo-rah’, with a rolling ‘R’. In Japanese, the vowel sounds are pronounced as follows: A is like ‘ahh’, E is like ‘ehh’, I is like ‘eee’, O is like ‘oh’, U is like ‘oooh’. The R sound is a rolling R, similar to Spanish, but not as pronounced. The vowel sounds are the same as Spanish vowel sounds.😊

@@JohnReavesLive I'll add to this slightly by saying another way to approach that pronunciation is, rather than trying to actively roll the R and produce a trill, the sound is similar to how English speakers pronounce a "tongue flap," which is basically that thing you do when you pronounce a double t really fast, as in the word "butter" or "atta boy." Thinking of it as an R is a little misleading because the positioning of the tongue is different--in English, our tongue doesn't touch the rest of the mouth when we make the R sound, but in Japanese, you do touch the tongue to the roof of the mouth just behind the teeth.

From what i gathered the R in japanese is pronounce more like a rolling L. It's a mix between an R and and L. Rest on prononciation is the same as in French for those who know a little bit of French.

she was always an extremely talented singer, but the difference in her control from when she broke out in 2010 to now is just incredible. She's trained her voice to an insane degree. This is what happens when you combine incredible natural talent with a decade of hard work.

I would suggest "Ichiban no TakaRamono" from lisa. There is a live video of it up on the web that is good quality. ITs a young LiSA, but the vocals and emotion are there. IT was from the anime Angel Beats.

Lisa's voice is frickin' amazing. She just put out another one take that is more fun pop like but her voice is just as great. (you just mentioned it at the end of this one as I was typing). I found her after listening to lots of Baby Metal. If you want another Japanese band to react to they are the one. I think it would be right up your alley. EDIT: Oh you have done Baby Metal. Will you please react to Hyde and L'arc en Ciel? L'arc en Ciel/Laruku is a Japanese rock band from early 90's and Hyde (full name Hideto Takarai) is their front man. They have really great discography and I think they are more of in your alley, near your alley anyways ☺. I am now binging on the BTS reactions coz they are my fave. It was in my teen years I got to know Laruku and was obsessed lols. Hope you can react to some of their vids, even though they have limited ones, coz I think they pulled out some of their vids here. HO-mooh-RAH. the Japanese Vowels are pronounced somewhat differently then ours. A: ah, E: Eh(Canadian), I: ee(Seek), O: Oh, U: ooh(moo). If a Vowel is doubled up UU it just extends the sound. I hope this helps with future Japanese titles! =D I hope you have an Amazing Year!
