Hey y’all, last night Dirty Loops dropped their brand new album ‘Beagle’ on Bandcamp, and it’s beyond crazy 😱🔥😱🔥

Jonah is currently into film scoring, and Aron has been composing classical music (check that out!) and Henrik is shredding all over the world. And they have a new genre called Dirty Loops 😊

The bass runs were on point with the piano runs. And the drummer was so deep in the pocket he found all of the loose change. Pick anything that you haven't already done by Dirty Loops and it'll be fire. Breakdown has the most amazing vocals by Jonah. (In my opinion) They are all formally trained from middle school through university. The university was a selective entry (something like 4 of each bass, etc. per year.) And yet, they still are musicians who find fun in making music.

As a vocalist, you would enjoy Hit Me (ends with the most difficult and precise vocal run I've ever heard) and Breakdown (a ballad with the highest power note he's ever sung) and Forever Young (he's mostly in his lower register where his tone is just sexy silky smooth.) As a musician in general, you can't beat Work Sh*t Out, Run Away, and Sayonara Love.

I think you should try out breakdown or hit me. Impressive vocals in both of them. 🙏 ❤

OMG they have done it again ..Fantastic !! if this not the new Bond movie theme then this should be, even the title for a Bond movie fits , James Bond in 'When the time is right'...they need to be commissioned to write a Bond Theme or some other Epic movie score...best band on the planet at present.

YES!! At it again John 🤘🤘🤘and checking out any other tracks of theirs? Yes please!!! Those insane vocal runs of Jonah’s, they say he’s swallowed a freaking keyboard 🤣 I also love what he does on that Steinway, those chromatic runs and lush arpeggios in the right hand whilst holding down those massive chords in the left- and those octave passages 😱 are you kidding me?! It’s like “Rachmaninov, hold my beer” 😉 Jonah has been playing piano all of his life, first classical and later on getting into jazz studies. He is a massive fan of romantic/classical music, but also of all the great jazz pianists out there from Oscar Peterson to Chick Corea to Brad Mehldau to Lyle Mays… He’s also passionate about film music writing, so evident in this track here… He fused all of these different styles and genres in this song here, I find. It’s so good to have someone appreciating all of their mad skills, loved it! Thanks a bunch for this reaction 🙏 You should have their track “Work Shit Out” next on your list of DL reactions. Jonah’s piano solos on that one are delectable! 👌 Also on their cover of “Circus” or “Forever Young”… and it’s not just his piano skills, seriously. Everything else is phenomenal as well, all three of them are!!! 🔥

One more thing: you’ve put it so well, Jonah is not flexing or shredding vocally here, like he might be doing in some other numbers - check out “Hit Me” or “Breakdown”, or pretty much most of their tracks from their first record, Loopified. The highest note he hit on a recording, is a B flat 5 (in “Breakdown”). It came as a surprise even to himself, at the time, he says ;) But nah, this here is just plain, drop dead gorgeous singing, and so much Stevie Wonder there in his voice I find 🫶 AND btw, they’ve got their new album on presale, as a Vinyl! And track 5 is a cover of Stevie Wonder’s song “Living for the City”!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

For range check out "Breakdown" - I seem to recall he said in an interview that he was surprised himself first time he hit that note. (And by that note you'll know which one I'm talking about when you hear it ;-) ).
