Nemophila is a band formed in 2019, but actually each of their members is from a different band, so nemophila is like a super band type, and they are a very unique band, they have no specific style, each song has different elements, Both guitars are 7 string, and of course 5 string bass,Two guitarists: Saki and hazuki are very famous guitarists in Japan, drummer tamu is one of the best drummers in Japan, she not only plays rock and metal, she is also a very good jazz drummer. next one Please react to 《oiran》or《raitei》🔥🔥🤘🏻🌸
@Memento_Mori3 жыл бұрын
It's awesome to me how many Jazz drummers end up being just BEASTLY metal drummers. I could tell they're all individually incredible musicians, so the fact they're more or less a supergroup makes a lot of sense. I've had 3 suggestions for Oiran already so that's probably next!
@AngelLWJ3 жыл бұрын
@@Memento_Mori totally agreed and thank you
@DavidKAnderson3 жыл бұрын
@@Memento_Mori Yeah...if you have the chops to play jazz fusion, you can probably play anything, at least from a technical standpoint. But just as impressive, Tamu is able to switch gears from an emotional/artistic standpoint. She doesn't sound like a fusion drummer playing metal (or vice-versa); her sound is authentic. On a slightly different note (swidt?), Japan just seems to produce incredible drummers. Not gonna try and make a comprehensive list (that would take a while), but some favorites of mine include Fumiya (Unlucky Morpheus, former Galneryus, etc), Youth-K (Raglaia, etc.), Natsumi (Bridear, ex-TELECiDE), and the astonishing Senri Kawaguchi (in the conversation for best fusion drummer there is).
@Memento_Mori3 жыл бұрын
@@DavidKAnderson Going to check out all of those for sure. Welcome, fellow David!
@fightrashovar45783 жыл бұрын
@@DavidKAnderson You're right, David, although I'd still say that Murata-San is no jazz- and even no fusion drummer (sorry Angel LWJ ...) in a strict sense, as she isn't specialised in it, rather her strength is her unlimited versatility, in particular; so as she knows to play every rock genre and style, she is quite good in playing fusion, too; all the other statements you made regarding Tamu Murata's qualities I endorse fully. And I'd like mention three more drummers (all women, by coincidence) whom I would favour: the drummer of Aldious, Terry Bozzio's stepdaughter Marina, Lovebites' powerdrummer Haruna, and, as you wrote about fusion and jazz, the wonderful and great Kanade Sato - not even 20 years old, and yet she belongs to the world's best, just like Senri K.

Somehow this band plays every genre in rock and metal and nobody is disappointed. This song is on the extreme metal end, even with the fun gang vocals, but they have played several pop songs and are just as enjoyable. They just have that infectious fun attitude with everything they do. There is a behind the scenes making of this video to get what I mean by that. It has been quite a ride watching this group since their beginning.

Next two bands to check are Band maid and Lovebites. Band maid is hard rock band, with many other elements like metal, pop punk and funk. Song to listen: Domination, Freedom, Play (all live). Lovebites is power/heavy/trash metal band, some songs are pure power metal, but mostly, their music is like modernised 80's heavy and trash metal (Iron maiden, Judas priest, Metallica, Slayer...). Songs: Holy war, Thunder vengeance (live), Glory to the world, Winds of Transylvania (MV). Cheers

The best reaction are videos are those where the song is analysed. Gratz on a great reaction video :) And yeah .. Nemophila are awesome and I'm completely enthralled by Mayu's voice. Her clean "tone"is warm, full and, as you said, gritty and her screams are perfect. And the rest of the band is just phenomenal. As Malady said, you might want to check out Band Maid. More Punk/Hard Rock than Nemophila, although it's hard to classify them really. Band Maid plays mostly Band Maid music :D Try either their latest (online-live) clip "No God" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHLHiKF_h896l80 ), or one of the MVs for "After-Life" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/aH6yp3aheNatlbc ) or "Warning" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6qnZHynp7Gnhs0 ) Those are all songs from their latest album "Unseen World". Or just search for "Band Maid LIve Shibuya" and click on any official clip ;)

Yes, she said "go hard", she also said "I hate you, hate you!!". There are lyrics around somewhere, about 60% are English, pretty much all of the screams in fact, it's very anti-establishment, very rock and roll, or at least how it's meant to be. Mayu has been working on her vocal techniques so she can do a whole set and sound as good at the end as at the beginning. Her improvement over the last 18 months has been wonderful to see. She's worked hard and it's paid off in spades. Exactly how she does it? I don't know, but I'm glad she does. :) For their track Oiran or the BABYMETAL Megitsune cover, those are just out and out bone chilling screams. Only a couple but they add far more to the songs than you'd think. 6/19 Nemophila have an online live. It's time delayed so they can do some fan participation and make sure it sounds as good as Saki wants it to. The first part will be free on KZbin - check out their channel to find details.

The gang vocals show they don't take themselves seriously-Hazuki even winks. If you watch them enough, you will get a clear sense that they are enjoying a private joke. Like "Yeah, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off". Nemophila were founded in 2019. They are a supergroup composed of: Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects) Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized Mayu with some help from Saki. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Then they began posting originals, starting with “Oiran” kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6rFY4GqhdyWrsU They tend toward hard and heavy, but also do ballads and some pop covers. After Oiran, others to check include“Raitei”, which means “Thunder” in Japanese, and yes, they bring the thunder: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opmQlYmCgLVmZ5Y Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding. Nemophila’s youtube channel: kzbin.info/door/voAeGZoC8giXP59NOZABIAvideos
