May 19 I will be 67 and I live alone. 5 years ago I had a ruptured disc in my back and could not walk. During this time waiting on one of 3 surgeries, I have 8 screws in my neck and 8 screws in my back. Bored, I found KZbin, and a commercial came on, it was Hobi with that infectious smile and in the background Fire was playing. Fire was my first MV of the boys, and I was immediately hooked. You are right John the right song just hits you. My son and daughter in law think I’m silly for loving the boys so much, I don’t mind. I am a Christian and the Lord is my comforter and provider and bts have been my entertainment. I absolutely love them. I started watching reactions and you’ve become one of my favorites. IF you watch the MV shooting behind-the-scenes for Save Me, you REALLY grasp how the camera is BTS' hidden eighth dancer. Watching the way they coordinated with and *choreographed* the camera's movements during that song was INSANE.

For me personally, "Young Forever" always gets to me. It's the honesty and vulnerability of the lyrics. It just feels so real, you know? I love 'Save Me', because it was a one-take under very harsh conditions. The 'making of' video is phenomenal and gives you a mountain of appreciation for these guys. Despite everything, they all seem to remain upbeat. After 70 years, I have learned not to sweat the small stuff. BTS 💜

Love them all. Yes epilogue young forever is so touching, it really hits when you need it. I also think jk’s solo begin was meaningful, too. This reaction didn't show the full song, but he’s singing about his very young age growing up in the industry while having the support of his hyungs/brothers/group members. So that got me because he was literally a child +/-14 when he left home to train. His natural talent was always there and ready to grow. Yet the music and film industries can be hit or miss with a lot of exploitation and scams. Fortunately, he had support from an honest company and love and comradery from members who became another family

I have to say Save me, purely because of the conditions it was filmed under. It was all done in one take in the cold, wet and with soggy ground beneath their feet. The behind the scenes video shows just how rough that day was. Kudos to the cameraman who managed to keep up with them and manage it in one take. Got to say every one of their songs impresses me, but f9r this one I think they all deserve a medal for their stamina and determination in producing this amazing video. 💜

Young Forever has always been hard for me to listen to without crying. This song hits closer to home as you get old and because the boys are leaving for military service and will be gone for awhile. I’m just so impressed how the Save Me video is all in one singular shot, no editing. Kudos to the camera guy too! No pressure there. 😂 2016 was a hell of a year. All of these are iconic. The picture in Begin was made by Jungkook. "Jungkook also discussed recreating the painting of Suga, explaining, “I didn’t learn how to draw when I was little. What happened though is, you know the ‘WINGS: BEGIN’ video, right? There was a painting of Suga in there. It was gone because it burned in the fire, so I had to recreate it. To be honest, I couldn’t draw it the exact same way. How am I supposed to do that? It’s not like I’m a professional or anything. But after drawing, it came out pretty well.”

My BFF and I flew from Alaska to LA and saw Yoongi night 1. It was my first time seeing any of them live. ARMY gathered is an amazing experience, and Yoongi gave us everything he had. From the raw to the beautiful. Between the Line Friends store in Hollywood, the Space of BTS popup store, the concert, and the PROOF exhibit I came home with a great mix of merch. After 36 hours of total BTS/Yoongi immersion we had to leave, unfortunately. But two of the best days ever.

So, I found BTS and became ARMY in June 2016. I was on FB & came across an old poll where it had a pic of three different artists, 1D; EXO; & BTS, & said to comment a letter for whichever your vote was. I had been a big 1D fan, but I had no clue who BTS or EXO was. I went to KZbin. I listened to both EXO & BTS & was absolutely blown away. I decided that I liked BTS best. Fire was their newest release and the first song & MV that I was exposed to. I was instantly hooked. Over the next months, I delved into their content. I knew their names within a week & was OT7 immediately. In August came Agust D, September brought the mini videos, & October brought WINGS. What a chaotic time to be an ARMY. Probably the best comeback era that I could have ever had as my first one. Everyone was trying to decipher what the heck was going on. We were losing our minds as to how everything was connected. Plus, their first very sexy concept since JK had just turned 20 in Korea. We all lost our minds. Plus Cypher Pt. 4 & new solo songs in the album??!!? We all lost it.

Wow hearing young forever again feels so...different now. It reminds me of yet to come (for obvious reasons since yet to come reflected on past songs/MVs). Like the part where they say “dreams, hope, forward forward” in this song reflects directly to when they say “dreams, hope, and going forward, we so about it” in yet to come🥺. And how the scene where they’re running freely towards the future reflects when they were running to the bus from no more dream in yet to come (still running towards their best moments😭). It’s already a touching song but hearing it again now after everything makes it more emotional somehow🤧, it’s hard to explain. But well...I guess the short and sweet of it is young forever will always hold such a special place in the hearts of army and bts 💜

No camera tricks on Save Me. That video was done as one continuous shot. You should watch the making of it, it’s wild! I think they had to film it so quickly because they wanted that weather for the feel of the video. But the guys were FREEZING!

Post concert/event/vacation drop is very real. Hang in there. Fancies the best I miss it used to take dance classes once a week (I’m not good just persistent) but not for a decade now. Thinking I need to find time to dance again. The BU videos especially the Wings short films are some of the most beautiful artistic vids around. Young Forever is the impactful one to me. It hits emotionally the most but Begin is a close second song wise.

Theres a behind the scenes for fire mv and they just got friends etc in to be extras, it wasn't a concert. Behind the scenes for save me is good too, its one take after a few practices and shows just how intricate the yiming and moves were.

I have always loved to write ever since I was a kid, but never thought I could be published, so it never really entered my mind. I think for sure dope brought me into bts and also the era where they made spring day and just those songs in general is when I got so hooked on them. An army pointed out that them being upside down and than as V walks they all on the same side was very important. Hope u see the live and the behind the scenes too. For Youth one of the newer songs from BTS has young forever army singing at the start of the song because the song is for army in whole. Also, Jimin has young forever tats on each of his elbows. It's JK singing the high note actually. In the early vids it was Jimin but slowly JK got more of these parts and as u watch more everyone on the vocal line can hit high's. JK is center so he gets the most lines and has the most stable voice. Jimin has the highest voice but the others are great too. Though on the recording it maybe Jimin who is singing the high, hmm. The more u hear them the more u will get used to their voices. Kelsey Mattison said on 6.28.21 I always saw the message of "Fire" to be Your young, your allowed to party instead of study sometimes, you can make mistakes, you don't have to be the best at what you do - this is your time to discover who you are through trial and error And even if no one else will "I forgive you." Soukie said on 2/5/22 Honestly I can't speak for what Suga really wanted the "I'll forgive you" to mean, but since you asked for our interpretation of it I'll share mine ^^ For me the song is about how society makes "rules" and "molds" that make us miserable if we don't follow them. It makes us feel inferior if we can't achieve those standard and question our value when we look at others who actually fit. Hence my interpretation of "burn it up" and "fire": it's like they're encouraging the listeners to just burn that checklist that we use to compare ourselves with to others or determine our value in society. It's almost revolutionary lyrics asking people to rebel against the preconceived ideas of our society and put our happiness first. But if you destroy something usually you get blamed for it. So for me "I'll forgive you" is another part of the encouragement they're giving as though they're saying "Just go for it, do whatever you want to do to be happy, even if others blame you for going against the system or being a rebel, we're on your side, we'll forgive you in their stead." Good reaction(SAVE ME), ty. Yes, it's one take! There are Bangtan Bombs for behind the scenes pls check them out. =0) Suga is very gifted. He is one of a very few fast rappers. Some ppl say he is the Eminem of Korea. But RM can rap dang fast too. You will see when you get more into his solo stuff. Never knew about the reverse order of the notes, and the rappers going in reverse. Very cool. Suga and J-hope are SOPE ME as a unit. We love SOPE!!! They so funny together and sound amazing back to back. =0) The boy meets _ at the end of the Save Me MV was basically a teaser for the future drop of their track "boy meets evil." They used to do this often in their older songs. "Boy meets evil" is a J-hope solo song. It is also an intro to their Wings album. Or should I say The "boy meets-" is actually the concept of the wings album. The full sentence is "boy meets evil". Wings album is based on a book called "Demian." The music video for is it pretty cool. Very deep song. Hobi is very talented. This song got a partner song called I'm Fine. Pls give it a listen too. I love in I'm fine how the choreography matches the lyrics. It's so beautiful. Both songs are bops. I love them and feel very connected to each one. I am a cancer survivor and the songs echo what I said to myself and others while I was battling cancer with chemo. I am in remission for almost 5 years now but the memories are still there from the trauma of the experience. Good reaction(Begin), ty. Love this one. This was JK's 1st solo. It's so lovely. So much feels. Adore songs with feels! The fact that he unabashedly shows his brothers he loves them makes my heart mush. He so cute and pretty. Love the fit too. That jacket is gorgeous. since the Festa, where they announced the time off as a group, my relationship with BTS has become so emotional that it has become overwhelming. I only managed to watch a couple of minutes of this video. I don't feel ready

I feel your pain, but the solo work that is coming out from the members is helping a lot. Have you been checking out this work? If not, you should. They keep coming out with new stuff so quickly that it makes the time go by quickly while we wait for the group's return. Plus, this solo work has been amazing! I can't get over how talented they are, not just as a group but on their own. Don't hesitate to reach out when you need a little ARMY injection of love to help you during this period. Together we will survive!

@@m.d.1626 I have been totally ARMY for seven years, there is no content, before or after the Festa, that I do not know, and I have several platforms to support their group and individual works. We have 24 wonderful releases since this new stage was announced. But on an emotional level, there are some that are really painful, for example Yoongi's live concerts, I can't watch them. Just a minute or two. There is content that I can only watch when I feel strong and in a good mood. Because if not, it affects me deeply. Dont ask me why

In my age (41) I don't have much people around me who can understand me and my love for boys...it's pity, because their message is so important for all people. The short films are, of course, BU but they don't really let you hear the songs that the films are named for. Will you be reacting to the actual songs? You would need to do a live performance or a lyric video, since the songs don't have an actual music videos. I really hope you do. Those seven solo songs are all very deep and honest for each of the boys. Yoongi's song, First Love, is about his love of music and his introduction to music through an old piano that his family owned. Jin's song, Awake, is about his belief that he isn't as good as the others and his fear that he's holding them back. As well as his fear that one day they will leave him behind. Stigma, Lie, and Reflection are all just as heartbreaking as Awake is. I'd love to see you react to the actual songs.

I love and can relate to Forever Young. Can't miss the hard work on the choreography in Fire. Damn. John, thanks for your words of encouragement. I am older and finally writing a book. Always wanted be an author. It is centered around a band and a murder. I know very little about the dynamics of a band, managers, security, etc. Kind of needed that in the beginning as my main character doesn't know anything either (learns along the way). The internet is filled with so much info, I'm drowning. Do you have a good book or website that you would recommend for an overview/basics? I don't want to flood you w questions just any help would be awesome. Thanks

멤버들 다 군대 가는데 일본에서 7월에 후쿠시마 원자력발전소 오염수를 바다에 버린다고 하네요. 이게 바로 옆에 있는 대한민국 바다에도 영향을 주는데요. 군대에서 나오는 식사에 오염된 식재료가 쓰일까봐 걱정입니다. 일본은 아미들이 분노하면 얼마나 무서운지 모르나봐요.
