as a big knife guy, I wish kizer would make more large offerings in the 4 inch territory, if they made 2 sizes of each design I'm sure they would sell

​@DeerUNIT42 good point, I particularly like the betleiger xl and original xl in frag AL, I believe the assasin has an xl as well. but if they produced them for all their models then I'm sure it would benefit their business, as well as pleasing and even expand more of their customer base.

I removed the flipper tab and added a thumb stud. It improved the knife considerably. Also, for anyone wondering the Brat pocket clip is titanium.

@@ajpend I keep it out and use it all the time! It’s held its edge really well, it’s light, the flipper action is perfect. Really hard to beat for the price.

Knifecenter has had a G10 integral with 154CM from Rike for a long time. It has a 3.75" blade, probably much more your style.

I got the KCE Kizer Swagg's Sway Back because they were out of the Cormorant, but a Cormorant integral would be really tempting. But, as is, that blade shape does not do much for me, though I agree that more cheap integrals would be cool, especially since my KSSB has started to separate and decenter from flipping too much, so I really need to get some torx bits to tighten it... 😅

I’ve been trying so hard to stick with monochromatic titanium knives in my collection the last year or so now, but damn!! I’m so very tempted to buy this. I really like the look and everything about it and the price is crazy good. But I’m also hunting down a benchmade anthem and spyderco paysan for the ti integrals.

To be completely honest, I don't really enjoy integrals outside of frame locks. I like to take apart and maintain my collection as a hobby and I can already see this being a high difficulty of disassembly. That's my only nitpick

I think sativian has a G10 and carbon fiber integral the one I see is red I know there's a black and maybe yellow too not sure the blade still but I know the price is about $125 that is the cheapest integral I have seen besides the fold over metal type.

Just picked one of these up. Love the design and finish. Great quality except mine has a ton of side to side blade play. Vertical is solid. Otherwise I love the knife and hope they expand with more blade shapes. It’s super fidgety and the integral construction is super cool. Anyone else have blade play issue??

Why would you switch the pocket clip for leftys when you can't change sides with the button for the lock.nobody wants a Button and clip on the same side. Button locks should just have a left and right configuration when buying.

Once your machine is set how much risk is really involved? Everyone says integrals are so risky but once you are CNC is programmed the risk is gone no? With a CNC machine it's not like one or two out of 50 is going to be messed up. They should all come out exactly the same. So you're either going to fuck them all up or have a successful run. Am I wrong?

Machines require maintenance and calibration so that there AREN'T issues with the pieces they're creating. So... yes. It very much IS risky vs making something less complicated

I understand and absolutely agree it is more risky than a standard knife Construction. My thing is that I truly don't believe it is so risky that this many companies shy away from it. Like you said in your video I would love for this to become a trend and I honestly don't see a reason for it not to be. Especially in the knife world reward would far away the risk.

It's not risky once the engineering design, and machining fixtures and program are made. Maintenance is no different doing it this way to another job, they're going to have a standard PM process and checks. Also I'm sure a scrapped handle isn't more than a few dollars, not a big deal. I'm guessing it hadnt been done up to this point simply bc the market hadn't demanded it, and I bet as materials get more affordable and processes and suppliers are more established, it took someone asking a question while why don't we do this with a cheaper material? The risk was to put out a new/ unknown product to the market

Maybe it's different with G10, but most of the Integrals on the market are made of titanium. If one teeny tiny bit of the frame is off, it messes with the entire functionality of the knife which absolutely, 100% was a huge risk for the companies making them. Again though ya with G10, im sure that's correct. Nowhere near the risk/cost..

The Kizer Brat I bought had to be sent back in for a refund. Extremely soft detent and an incredibly dull edge that was totally jacked up and uneven. Nice feeling knife with a good blade length but I think they have some kinks to work out. Disappointing QC.
