Just saw these guys at Knotfest for the very first time. Never heard of them before that, and holy hell did they steal the show. The winds were blowing strong in San Bernandino, people were rushing the poorly set up gates to reach the general admission pit area while being tackled by security, some people escaped and got lost in the crowd, and there was 3 fires burning on the lawn area with moshers circling the flames. It was the most metal thing I have ever seen.

Amon Amarth is just pure, simple, death metal with a lot of viking on top of it. Their music always gets me pumped up, but in a good way, like in a go conquer the world, do something amazing kind of way. If you read their lyrics, there is some pretty interesting norse mythology in there, too.

I prefer Punk Rock, very obviously; but the Metal, Melodic Death Metal, in particular, that I've listened to, I've loved. - This all thanks to Metalocalypse. ;) On average, Melodic Death Metal is beautiful. ...So yeah, I do. I do listen to it. Occasionally. This song is unbelievably good, by the way. My cousin just showed me it a few days ago, on Sunday.
