@eatdapoopoo674 жыл бұрын
my thoughts exactly
@Shadowsdeity4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Looking at it as it is, it's apocalyptic as hell but considering the state that the world is in right now, it reflects an undoubtedly realistic view of the conditions we're currently living in. Like if you saw this video in 2018, you'd think "What are they talking about? Who wrote this? Apocalypse as a theme is so over done." but looking at it right now you realize that we're living in sort of an apocalypse with marketing, economy, general well-being and everything being endangered. We'll get through it though, we've been in similar situations before but nowadays the negative information from different sources move so fast and reaches everyone that it feels like everything has gone to shit. Take this with a grain of salt but the internet has really removed a barrier that protected us before; not knowing everything.
@After9waves4 жыл бұрын
@@Shadowsdeity The fact that you and me, two complete strangers from different parts of the world, recognize the problem and comprehend its consequences, is pretty much positive. Realization is the first step towards finding a solution. I don't know if we will find one, but we need to find more people that realize the current state they live in and take care of them, treat them well and altogether, we shall try and fix things in our own personal way. Hopes die last and I want to keep hoping. Take good care bro, stay safe

Love it! Bonus points for the pronounciation of 'wafer' haha, love that Python reference. Again, another epic track with a big chorus, Dave's cleans get better and better. Still find people saying 'power metal' hilarious whenever an extreme band inserts something melodic into a song. If you know Nathrakh well you will know they believe extremity comes in many forms like subject matter and lyrics, and not just the BPM of a song. As much as I think it's important to have blast-filled hellfire songs when you're a band like Nathrakh, variation in extreme metal is far more interesting. Really look into the subject matter of their songs and you will get what they are about. They are a very mature band that stand up for the oppressed and reveal the crap the world throws at us all. Cant wait to write the review!
@smurfk21444 жыл бұрын
Aw, fuck your essay. It's not what it was. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I enjoy it, I don't. The reason why I would listen for AN older albums was sheer brutality. That's gone now, not saying it's good or bad, just that this album is at the bottom of the list for me. Don't need to get offended just because people don't like it. I always hate this argument. "Just see the lyrics...". It's not poetry. Music must be good too, and it isn't.

These guys called our current political landscape YEARS ago.... I'll never forget finding out about these guys back when I was in high school and I immediately became obsessed with them, their lyrics and sound. The lyrics litteraly spoke of pure corruption hidden in plain sight, spoke on fake news, spoke on voter fraud and spoke on how fucking moronic the masses have become due to voluntarily being told how to feel, what to be upset about and pretty much welcome communism with open arms. The lyrics honestly opened my eyes unintentionally to tons of great resources that helped me see through all the bullshit at that age. I could go on and on about this honestly but no one will probably even read this lol.
