LYRICS:
And then I wished you away
I lost those memories
Of the days we weren’t
Forsaken, why don’t we
Just relax our eyes
and fall into a dream
let it take my mind
Where owls know my name
And it gets colder every day
Lost in eternity’s grasp
Withdrawing further from what we have known
This mentality that we’ve built;
It’s breaking down
Still running away from it, you’re still dreaming
Still hoping that there’s something that may be worth seeking
You’ve wasted all that you have been given
Still hoping to find a way to make life worth living
Lost in eternity’s grasp
We’ll find no way to weather the storm
This mentality that we’ve built;
It’s breaking down
All the same;
Every path you take
You remain
Trapped within your shame
Go away, far away
Separate, from the shame
I’ve brought myself to this place
Where only owls would know me
This reality that I’ve built
Is an empty space

I saw these guys in Toronto supporting Dying Fetus and Thy Art is Murder. The singer got held at the border and was t able to attend but they played anyway, and the bassist sort of took lead and I truly felt without his ability to take that “lead” spot the gig would have been shit but they fucking slayed. One of the best shows I’ve been to, hands down.

Ngl just found these guys recently and they are very pleasant to the ears. Harmony. Masters of their respective crafts. Sick fucking pink shirt singer guy like the dude is a legend just from this video alone. Good low screams. Jean jacket guy giving me Mike Hranica vibes. Straight into some tantric breakdown or astounded vibes. SAX wtf. I'm a decent drummer so I can appreciate how slow and controlled that guy is during this song after listening to some of the others. Just overall an amazing band and I cant wait to listen to more. Best video too
