Alot of the old school Thrash metal bands from the golden age of thrash played Intelligent thrash....dark angel...Vio-lence...Atrophy...Flotsam...etc etc... Alot of the newer so called thrash metal bands just sing about beer drinking and partying....clichéd lyrics are an unfortunate part of the newer tier of bands from the last 15+ years...the originators set the tone with intelligent lyrics...but many of the bands that revere them as influential...elected more of a punk/crossover lyrical approach to things

in both new songs I hear very similar riffs to one that metallica,slayer,sepultura did 30+years ago. here I can hear not only riff but also drum pattern that is same as in intro for hell awaits,I can hear som angel of death riff in verse, I can hear vocal patter similar to slayer' bitter peace,I can hear riff from song helpless behind this solo etc. it's just meh for release that is this much anticipated. not really excited at the end.will give a listen but for now everything sounds amateurish

One of the finest thrash metal bands who ever existed. Highly intelligent both lyrically and musically. It's damn hard to beat Ignorance as an album and to their credit they never really tried to do an "Ignorance Part 2" and started varying their art from on subsequent albums, but I think they pulled it off beautifully. This new album is just another step in the right direction for this under-rated but iconic thrash band.

Was never really a huge fan of these guys back in the day. Of course, "Independent" was a good album, but I never really got beyond that. I also kinda grew out of thrash metal sometime in the mid-2000s. That said, I really enjoyed this. Look forward to more.
