WASP - Crimson Idol, Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark, Megadeth - Countdown To Extinction, Manowar - Triumph Of Steel, X-Japan made Art Of Life... Traditional stuff was geting lost in the shuffle because of the rise of extreme metal and the dawn of nu-metal, but there were still great classic names around. Nothing wrong with Savatage's Zak Stevens period either.

John Bush never disappoints and neither does Armored Saint. Jeff Duncan and Phil Sandoval are a wonderful guitar tandem, Joey Vera is terrific on the bottom end, Gonzo is great and dammit...Bush is the most underappreciated vocalist in rock. He sounds even better here than he did back in the day...and he was great back in the day. Wow. So glad these guys are still showing how it's done!

Saw them open for Saxon just after Win hands down came out. They blew me away. And blew Saxon away. John Bush is an insane rarity. His voice has not weakened at all in 30 years. A truely underated singer.
