Skipped school every day junior year with Ryan. safe to say he was my best friend for about a year. Ryan introduced me to Children of Bodom, In Flames and Killswitch..and Dan Gapen, the lead guitarist was around almost everyday too. Getting stoned and jamming. My first memory of this band is from a mobile game called Tap Tap Revenge 3 on my iPod touch waaaaay back when I was a freshman in high school in about ‘09. I remember this was on “extreme difficulty” only and it was one of my favorites to attempt. It always had me vibing and head banging with the biggest smile across my face. I eventually looked up their other stuff and became a bigger fan knowing not many people knew about them. I always wondered what happened to them, and it’s sad to see their drummer passed, R.I.P. still some of my favorite thrash 🤘

All I remember is Lazarus A.D. from the show I went to as well. They were the first to preform and after their set was done I was satisfied. I said to myself... you just saw the best band here. So I left. Walking back to the car I guy came up to me and asked if I just came from the show? Yes I said and then he handed me a ticket to the first ever Metal Music Award Show. Megadeth and Hatebreed were the best bands there.

I saw them recently. They were great. They are pretty young which is refreshing as metal is dominated by the old guard from the old days it's nice to see new faces. High energy and really tight.
