Kai Hahto is Nightwish's current drummer, he was formally from Wintersun. He has perfect posture and is one of the best technicians...one of the best drummers, of a generation! He isn't showy, but if you catch it, you'll notice he's able to switch leads from right to left and back, and works 3 pedals with his left foot. Kai was a teacher and mentor to Jukka, who stepped down in 2015 for health reasons. Check out Kai's drum cam/clinic for the song Stargazers...its incredible!

You can also watch some drum cams of Kai Hahto with Rotten sound, a finnish Grindcore band he became famous with in the metal scene, before Wintersun. Probably the most tecnical playing of his career.

Jukka has chimes on his drum set, he doesn't play them, he hits so hard they play themselves. I haven't found any drum cam videos of Jukka, but Everdream from Wacken has some behind the drumset video particularly in the last 1/3 of the song when he is driving the double bass, and Storytime also from Wacken has a drum centered section toward the middle of the song.

If you like how hard Kai hits his drums, take a look at Jukka - he ATTACKS his drums like I never saw before... And Jukka is a showman, moving his whole body while attacking the drums. As there are unfortunately no drum cam videos of Jukka, check out their whole concert of Wacken 2013 as the cameras showed him a lot. Cheers! 😁
