I would say try the studio version. The vocals are a lot more clear and if you look into the meaning, it’s actually very emotional and personal for the singer. It’s also one of my all time favorite songs.

Hauntingly beautiful song, totally recommend you check out the studio version tho as this version is technically live

The thing about anything Casablancas writes, most people only start loving it after at least a few listens. Theres something about him specifically that makes it that way, its not catchy at first but you listen a few times and fall real hard.

Also Julian Casablancas is the lead singer of the Strokes this is his side/new band

I would highly recommend their song “pyramid of bones” it is a heavier sounding track with some really cool experimentation blending of genres. This track has clearer mixing so the vocals are also more noticeable in the mix.

Hell yeah thanks for checking this one out! The Voidz are a very interesting band, definitely the most unique out there atm. They play a lot with texture and dissonance in their sound so it was cool to see what you noticed about it :) Also Julian is part of the band, in the beginning it was more of a companion band to his solo career but it evolved to its own band as he got incorporated into it

All of The Voidz music is very 80’s, I think you would dig a good amount of it. They don’t have too many super long songs like this, most songs are more faster paced
@victorjuuel78026 ай бұрын
it really sounds like you should make a follow up video where you listen to the studio version
@denisvaie3742 ай бұрын
Salut, tu pourrais aussi analyser "Dare I care" autre chef-d'oeuvre de the voidz ou bien "Pyramide of bones", plus dans ton style (au moins dans l'introduction) voire "Pointlessness" dans un tout autre genre. Ajoutons également les titres "Where no eagles fly" et "Alien crime Lord".Que ce soit en solo, avec the Strockes ou the Voidz, Casablancas ne semble pas souffrir de la page blanche manifestement.

The shirt you wear reminds me of The Voidz “Prophecy of the Dragon” 🐉 I prophesied that you would do a video on the video just moments ago.

I think you should react to the whole álbum is a good one

Voidz have A Lot of more "metallic" songs. Like "Where no Eagles Fly", "M.A.D.", "Johan Von Bronx", etc. Id like to see you react to them, theres usually no problem with posting their stuff cause Cult Records is owned by Julian.
@Bastet32Ай бұрын
"Business Dog". Or something like "Qyurryus" could be interesting to you - something most people have never heard, very different.
@Bastet32Ай бұрын
Oh!! Or "Prophecy of the Dragon", would def love to see you react, theres a video of it combined with "Flexorcist" and Dragon is the second part of that video. Def really cool. I personally dont like the first Flexorcist part, but when Dragon starts its suddenly a huge banger. Def think you wont forget it. Also thanks for the video, i tripped out.
