twice and itzy both do a lot of location shooting (japan, canada, USA) but there's a 'making of #1' video on their channel showing the elaborate sets for Ryjin's bathroom scene and Lia's table scene. the picture you had as your background shot shows an exit sign and looks like it might have been shot in a public space like a store in a mall or something - i'm assuming there's a 'making of #2' video to come with the location shoots

You should check "nobody like you", also from their latest album (you can find a "selfie MV" the girls did for this song during their US tour), it's unusually more rock-heavy than traditional kpop and there's a sick guitar riff throughout the song I think you might both enjoy :)

To your question about how much ITZY is involved in the production of the music itself, most groups in JYP are heavily involved in the creative process of their music and concept, however for the first 3 years their music is heavily supervised and produced by JYP himself or their producers, while the group learns the ropes, write, compose, produce, conceptualize. Then after the 3rd year JYP starts giving more and more creative freedom to the group until they basically become a self produced group with minimal supervision. Is actually a lovely arrangement I think. ITZY it’s currently in that process since they have only been around for 1 year. Hope that helps :)

Hi boys, the lyrics, production and arrangement for this song were handed by a Korean production group called Galactika, consisting of two guys - Friday and Chang. JYP himself was not involved in the production of any of the songs on this album, but has been on their previous songs. Western pop artists involved on this album include Sophie and Oliver Heldens; a producer who works with JYP artists a lot is collapsedone who was also involved on this. Rapper/songwriter Penomeco was heavily involved for lyrics.

I think the video was trying to deconstruct a lot of narratives we have for women.
