Thank you for reacting to this exact version. It‘s from his Arnau concert in Kazakhstan in 2019. Here he sings in Italian. Dimash sang this song many times after this performance as well. But honestly, some things just don’t get any better. I think this is epic. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the video and every, really every time my heart starts to race and I get goosebumps. That facial expression after singing the high notes. Wow, what a beast he can be. He then completely captivates me🫣. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. In my opinion, Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅. Please react to Sinful Passion next. And watch the videos till the end and you will see how kind and lovely he is. And I always recommend turning on the subtitles, if available. And please always react to the songs from his channel if possible. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. The musicians who accompany him are called A-Studio. It's a Kazakh band that also wrote this song in 1998. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion much better 😄. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. The song Olympico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Olympic Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

The author Igor Krutoy tell that he wrote an “opera” to Dimash for Second European Games at Minsk, and is difficult piece for to sing (for two opera singers, baritone and soprano) and is in Italian......Dimash is trained opera singer and He has classical vocal Technique and do it wonderfully!..Last perfect note is a high E6 for 7 seconds....for that reason I like Dimash! Igor Krutoy is the famous Russian billionaire composer/music mogul. He has written many masterpieces for Dimash since coming out of retirement in 2018, when he first heard Dimash sing!

If you see Igor Krutoy at the Piano, you know he composed the song!!! Always turn on the subtitles as he sings in up to 14 languages... He actually only SPEAKS Kazakh, and Russian fluently, His English has i,proved by Leaps and Bounds, and he speaks a little bit of Mandarin.

Hello, great reaction, thank you. Dimash is super professional and perfectionist on stage; he is also very dramatic, particularly in songs like this one, whose genre would be a modern opera. As you know, operas are not just music and lyrics, They have a plot, they are real plays set to music. Singers have to get into character and play a role in an opera, and this is what Dimash does here. He plays the role of an Olympian god sending his troops into battle, urging them to do their best without giving up. His gestures and body language accompany the lyrics... that gesture with his arm forward is when he says "Vai!" (Go!). This piece was written for the opening of the Olympic Games, so it was meant to inspire strength and to encourage athletes to give their best. The first time I heard it what inmediately came to my mind was the Rohirrim cavalry charge in Lord of the Rings. It gives you that feeling that no matter how powerful and strong your "enemies" are, you can just charge and run over them. In this official video you don't get to notice it, but in the fancams of this performance the change in his expression and body language when he finish the song and gets "off character" is amazing to watch.

I appreciate the fact that you mentioned 1500s music before video game music :))) He did record a song for a video game, 'Ocean over time' (song name). And several for movie/tv show. "Across endless dimensions" is for an italian sci-fi movie (William Shatner is in the movie too). Thank you for the reaction video :) You should check out Olimpico again with subtitles in english, best encouragement lyrics ever. For this video set auto-translate to English, works perfectly. Or video from his own channel, CC defaults to English. I listen to this song to clear my head and get some strength in different moments.
