Apparently there are a bunch of social media celebrities included in the "home movies" sections of the video. I don't follow socials, so I don't recognize anyone but Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones. She's a real fan of PTX and has even been on at least 2 episodes of Scott and Mitch's side project SuperFruit. PTX announced to their Patrons that they were going to be filming on one of the famous LA piers, and invited everyone who wanted to be in a video to show up - so the fans did!

First time I made a premiere. Of course, I forgot to say anything during the actual video. Yes, incredible joy. They apparently sent a teaser of the chorus out to fans and asked them to submit videos. There are actually a few famous faces scattered through the video submissions. At the end, they apparently sent out a tweet that they were going to be recording at that pier and asked people to show up if they wanted to. One of my favorite originals. Try very hard not to let any negative comments affect you. I get nothing but positivity from you. Also, you are certainly allowed to have a musical crush on anyone you want. Heaven knows we all do! I think sometimes people complain just because your crush is different than their crush ;)

I think a lot of people miss the reference in KO’s rap “I’m the human 808”. I looked it up and the Thompson(?) 808 was the first commercial drum synthesizer. So he’s basically saying he’s a human drum synthesizer.

I ❤ this song! A PTX original! They have a worldwide fan base *AND* a massive celebrity fan base. When they put out the call for all fans to submit video clips lip syncing to this song for the official video, the response was overwhelming! Bet you can’t pick out all the celebrity cameo appearances!!! Dare you to try!!! Then they had another huge response on filming day when they texted for fans to show up at the pier! (FYI they did just get a star ⭐️ on the Hollywood Walk of Fame three months ago!!!) Another great reaction, thank you! Next time I’ll catch the livestream!!!

I believe this announced "Pentatonix 2.0". They decided they were ready to "graduate" from doing all covers and do an album of all.originals. This video has a clearly different beginning and ending, sort of like "introducing" their band to a new audience. Their joy and pride of their work shine through.

Gotta love PTX original songs! Love Again, Can't Sleep Love, Coffee In Bed, A Little Space ft Ateez, Be My Eyes, Happy Now. Scott is so underrated. Mitch and Avi get most of the attention (well -earned!) because they have "outlier" voices, but Scott is damn-near omnipotent with his singing--he can make his voice do anything, and it seems effortless. Seriously, what is wrong with some people? I don't know why some feel so threatened by the idea of admiring someone of their own gender. Immaturity, I guess? I've heard lots of male reactors gush over the male members of PTX. Who wouldn't? 🤷

In Kevin's rap, he calls himself out as a "human 808". His voice drops in volume at the end so it's a little hard to make out. An 808 was an early electronic drum kit, programmable to link a series of drum sounds together to make a beat. Early masters could replicate most of a drum kit. So no, KO didn't swallow a drum kit, he swallowed an entire drum machine. Cheers!

This song & Happy Now, another original, are my go to pick me up songs. As others have said, there are a lot of famous people cameos sprinkled in this (Maisie Williams, Hailee Steinfeld, Jesse Ferguson, Victoria Justice, Hoda Kotb, …so many others) who are also great fans of PTX. They have some really amazing originals. Unfortunately their last album released, of originals, dropped as the pandemic hit so they couldn’t tour in support of it. It’s an amazing album ( The Lucky Ones) & worth a whole album listen or, better yet, reaction! Love your reactions!

I think this is one of the most joyous songs on KZbin. Friends and family and fans celebrating with the band and everybody looks to be having a lot of fun. Maybe it's time for them to do another like this, but they would have to adapt to their fan base being so huge now. And that is one of the main things I Love about them, outside of the insane about of talent, is how much they love with they are doing. This is such a happy song! One of my favorites, everyone looks and sounds like they're having so much fun! This kind of reminds me of an amazing song by Voiceplay "just sing" which I hope you'll react to. It features a bunch of different people, and it's very important to have the captions on in that video, bc they introduce everyone! It's very cool and touching and I love it a lot.
